Inhaled steroids and blood
I waas diagnosed with asthma last year and have been on
seretide
250/25 and singulair ever since. I have constant wheeze and sometimes bouts of paroxysmal coughing that produces gluey, thick, off-white mucus that seems to come from deep down.

Going to see the asthma doctor on Friday again
Also take 2 puffs of your
seretide
inhaler twice per day. Zone 4 It is a medical emergency if your symptoms continue to get worse and your peak flow reading have fallen below 220. Get help immediately by telephoning your doctor or calling for an ambulance by dialling 999 or 911.

The last few prescriptions I have had for
Seretide
, the packaging on the inhaler has come from different countries i.e. Germany, France, Spain and today Norway. The inhaler and instructions look the same. Anyone know the reason? I forgot to ask the pharmacist today.

GP rationing my ventolin - very scared
I take
Seretide
and Atrovent regularly as a preventative, however my chest is still tight and wheezy most of the time, and being on such short rations severely restricts my range of movement regarding exercise. I dare not swim anymore, and can barely do any housework lest this trigger an attack.

He said he could try me on symbicort instead of

A tad forgetful
It's the other way around with my
Seretide
as I'm nearly at the end of my inhaler and don't have enough doses left (I know when I started it therefore when it should run out) and I've no idea when I took the double doses, ooops.

Wonderful asthma uk nurse, and first cons visit - what to expect?
I saw another GP in the practice and came away with more pred, motelukast,
seretide
and an appointment with a consultant. Result!! I am hoping for a better night tonight.... My question really is what can I expect for the consultant?

Symbicort
Have been backwards and forwards to the doctor for asthma reviews since April this year on my last visit the doctor said he may want to change me from
seretide
to symbicort at my next appointment. My asthma has been out of control for the last few years and have had several courses of pred.

Home pulse oximetry and sats down to 93%
I gave him his blue inhaler and his usual
seretide
and within about 5 mins he was back to 99%. i've done a bit of respiratory medicine and CVS medicine at uni and in my work, so I really don't understand how he can all this going on internally but not show any sign of it externally.

Hi, I'm new to all this . . . .
Now I take nine pills a day, a
Seretide
inhaler twice a day, a Nasonex spray once a day and, since my last hospital admission, I'm also on Azithromycin (250 mgs) twice a week. I try to remember to do my breathing exercises three times a day and to take a 30 min walk, as/when the weather allows.

Seretide and bruising easily
I have been taking
Seretide
250 for about 7 years with no complications. But for the last year or so I have been bruising really easily, especially on my legs. Something that would have once caused a temporary red mark now causes a dark blue bruise which takes 2 weeks to go.
