Is it safe.
I have recently been diagnosed with asthma and am now using QVAR100 and Vertine
Salmeterol
inhalers twice a day. I have been using viagra/kamagra with no ill effects for a few years and need to know if I am safe to keep on using it in view of my inhalers and my asthma.

Use of reliever inhaler
They then decided to put me on
salmeterol
125 2 puffs twice a day. This seemed to control my asthma a bit better but not totally so she put me up to 3 puffs at night and 2 in the morning.

Montelukast & coordination problems
I've been on
salmeterol
for nearly 20 years so that's not 'new' enough to explain the symptoms. My GP thinks that if it's not med related then hopefully it's a condition called 'Essential Tremor' which can be progressive but can (hopefully) progress very slowly.

Salbutamol and blood sugar levels
I've just found out (googled a hunch) that high-ish doses of salbutamol and
salmeterol
can raise blood sugar. This happens through the same mechanism that lowers potassium, and as I regularly get low potassium, I'm guessing that I also get the blood-sugar raising effect.

and not improving should see their GP,"" he said.

Just saying hi
My GP has just prescribed me Prednisolone and
Salmeterol
to get me over a bout of severe symptoms; I was diagnosed with asthma many years ago but hadn't bothered keeping up with inhalers as it was so mild and I didn't want to get dependent.

Salmeterol and Montelukast
Just got some new medication for my asthma from the docs , the asthma nurse has given me
Salmeterol
25mcg instead of my usual preventer inhaler since i didnt feel that it wasnt working well enough and most times found it would bring on my tight chest and breathlessness and would reduce the effectiveness

GP restrictions on inhalers
The receptionist passed on the message from a doctor saying that they had received new ""guidelines"" that only mixed inhalers containing fluticasone and
salmeterol
were allowed (Seretide).

Daughters asthma seems to be getting worse instead of better
Sarah is on flixotide,
salmeterol
and salbutamol. She is needing her salbutamol quite a lot (up to 5 or 6 times a day) her peak flow is also low and my friend mentioned to me that she does not seem to be able to blow very hard on her spacer to get her medication to her lungs properly.
