Flying with Medication
(can I carry a box of
salbutamol
nebs, or just the few I would need during the flight?) I will clearly have spare in my hold luggage incase of an exacerbation whilst away. I'll take a list of my medication in generic names and also wear a medicalert.

Feeling so fed up with this whole asthma lark.
So Friday I went back to the doctors and when I arrived I cold hardly breathe so they ended up giving me 2.5ml's
salbutamol
nebule which helped as after taking this I felt fab no chest tightness or pain in the lung area, shortness of breathe gone and for the first time in months I managed to get 420

Salbutamol Nebulisers in the fridge??
Hello, I got some more nebulisers today as I do every couple of weeks. These ones are made by a company called 'Breath'. The pharmacist told me when I collected them they have to be stored in the fridge. I've never heard of this before, nebulisers in fridges?! Has anyone been told to do this before?

How do you know when to go to the doctor?
I was diagnosed a couple of years ago, I'm generally mild and exercise induced, I only use
salbutamol
and antihistamines as far as medication for asthma. The nurse keeps saying we might put you onto a steroid inhaler but we'll see. So my question is when do you go to the doctors for a flare up?

long term use of inhalers? is it safe?
I'm currently on beclomethasone, serevent and
salbutamol
due to asthma triggered by highly allergic reaction to house dust mites and pet allergy. Is there anyone out there that has been using them for a long time, and if so, is there any repurcussions on other areas of your health?

When to go to hospital?
I am currently on Symbicort 400 twice daily, Montelukast,
Salbutamol
and also a current rescue course of 20mg pred - given by the consultant at my last appointment. The pred has always sorted me out in the past at least for a while, but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

walk in centre
The doc sounded my chest and said was very weezy and put me back on pred. she asked me how much
salbutamol
I had had to relieve it ,I said 8/10 puffs ,she told me never take more than 3 as it would just make me shakey and wouldnt work any better and give me pred.
