When is my asthma going to start improving and get back under-control again
I have already taken my
Salbutamol
which is also 400mg twice and the first time took 1000mg in total to even touch and easy the attack. I was meet to have been seeing the doctor on Tuesday next week for my next fortnight review but I have brought that appointment forward to 4:10 this afternoon.

Newbie with a medical question
I was put on seretide,
salbutamol
, montelukast and prednisolone in an emergency. Now home from hospital after my second severe asthma attack, my asthma nurse is considering putting me onto new medication, but I cant remember the name of it.

the shakes
I'm only on 4 puffs a day of symbicort 200/6 and
salbutamol
when needed but I seem to have really bad shakes in my hands most of the day. Could this be the meds or is it something else????? Just wondered if it happened to anyone else? Smithy

Tight chest but no other symptoms
The
salbutamol
isn't helping and I have no wheeze or any other symptoms. I'm not due back at the doctors until fri. Does this sound like my asthma kicking in with having no steroids?? Smithy

New Boyfriend Smokes... Any Advice???
It passed with the use of my
Salbutamol
inhaler and at the time I thought it might be enough to stop him smoking around me quite so much. Unfortunately he's still puffing away and I'm finding it's bothering me enormously.

struggling a lot first thing on a morning. ***NOT URGENT***
for the last week or so, I've been struggling a lot first thing on a morning, my peak flow has been around 55/60% after
salbutamol
. I'm really tight and I'm aching a lot around my shoulders for about an hour and half, two hours after waking up.

another discontinued inhaler grrr!!
The
salbutamol
and Beclamethesone cyclohaler I was happily using has to my annoyance been discontinued, this has happened to me before with the rotahaler. I find using dry powder capsules the best form of medication for me.

How do you know if a salbutamol mdi is empty?
Hi, I'm a childrens community nurse who is the lead for asthma. One problem I'm facing is parents using empty mdi canisters and being unsure of when they are empty. Some parents have been told to 'drop their canisters in water', after researching this it appears this is very old fashioned advice. Does

when to get help?
PF currently at 75-80% of best,
salbutamol
is picking it up by about 40 after multidosing, but staying the same for a good few hours afterwards. I'm tight, got quite a bit of pain, SOB and wheezing a bit . Does it need help, or is it one of those things that comes with being asthmatic?
