My GP changed my Meds
After moving from Edinburgh to London, my new GP has changed my asthma meds, I used to have a Bricanyl Turbohaler (0.5mg), Pulvinal Beclometasone Diproprionate (0.2mg), and a green inhaler, and Beconase nasal spray. Now my new GP has changed me over to Qvar Easi-Breathe 100ug, and Ventolin Evohaler

A couple of questions relating to asthma medication (seretide and salbutamol)
Hey I'm sorry I know this is all probablly common knowledge but am just looking to pick brains for a bit of information before I see asthma nurse on Tuesday. I was at asthma nurse on Thursday due to peak flow being at 60% of my usual peak flow, I know it's not really low but I had been taking salbutamol

Post Asthma Attack
Hi I am just reaching the 4th day following an asthma attack which required prednisolone and nebulised salbutamol. Feeling loads better but still have a cough which is becoming more productive although i actually feel better. Is this a good sign or not. I do feel better though and have a follow up appointment

the shakes
Hi all, Does any one get the shakes in their hands from their meds? I'm only on 4 puffs a day of symbicort 200/6 and salbutamol when needed but I seem to have really bad shakes in my hands most of the day. Could this be the meds or is it something else????? Just wondered if it happened to anyone else

Tight chest but no other symptoms
2 and a half weeks ago I was taken off my seretide by my doctor and given just salbutamol and serevent to see if the seretide is what has been effecting my voice. Yesterday I started with a bit of a tight chest but today it feels like someone is sitting on the centre of my chest. The salbutamol isn't

CLENIL MODULITE
Hello Darlings! Has anyone else recently been taken off the Beclomethasone inhaler and been prescribed Clenil Modulite instead? I only ask because every time I go to the pharmacy they never have it in stock and have to order it in and I have to wait for flippin' days to get it. It's really tedious picking

New Boyfriend Smokes... Any Advice???
Hi All. Merry Christmas to absolutely everyone! As usual I am bringing problems for others to help me solve. Sorry. I have a new man in my life. He's a sweetheart but there's a snag. He smokes. Cigarette smoke and my chest simply do NOT get along and I can almost hear other chests on the board coming

struggling a lot first thing on a morning. ***NOT URGENT***
for the last week or so, I've been struggling a lot first thing on a morning, my peak flow has been around 55/60% after salbutamol. I'm really tight and I'm aching a lot around my shoulders for about an hour and half, two hours after waking up. I'm on seretide 500, it's horrible and frustrating waking

another discontinued inhaler grrr!!
I wonder if anyone can offer any advice. The salbutamol and Beclamethesone cyclohaler I was happily using has to my annoyance been discontinued, this has happened to me before with the rotahaler. I find using dry powder capsules the best form of medication for me. I have recently started using a seretide
