Enlarged Prostate Medication
I was prescribed Tamsulosin which I took for a short time as I suffered with
Rhinitis
which I understand can be a side effect. The GP then prescribed Doxazosin with the same effect.

Exercise induced rhinitis- bit of a moan.
Hello all! I have had hay fever a few times in the last couple of years (more inflamed eyelids that nose though! I’ve been taking nasal spray & antihistamines, just in case). However the running issue occurs outside of hay fever season- even in the middle of winter! Nose breathing is practically impossible

How many inhalers?
Another question from me...It's been suggested to me that I could add a Flixotide 250 to my medications, which is currently Symbicort 200 (MART but I still use a lot of Salamol during flare-ups) and Montelukast. To me, this seems weird (and would that be a High Steroid Dose?) so I'm wondering if anyone

Changing from MDIs to DPIs for the environment
It concerns me when I read up the plans to change to dry powder inhalers (DPIs) that the patient's voice and experience seems not to be included in the discussion. I am all for being more environmentally friendly, but at what cost to at least some patients? 1. In 2019 I was swapped from Symbicort,

Using Fostair 100/6 & Ventolin Advice
I’ve had various symptoms over the years including chest infections, acute
rhinitis
, etc. but not diagnosed as didn’t know it was an issue. I was initially prescribed Ventolin but was moved over to Fostair a month or so later as the Ventolin wasn’t working.

Is it possible to have a wheeze but not have asthma?
I do have
rhinitis
with polyps and my inspiration always sounds a bit wheezy/squeaky. I am not sure if this is what people are hearing, as I can hear that myself. I have been to my gp as with having polyps I thought I’d better get checked for asthma.

Glaucoma eye drops and migraines
I take steroid inhaler once a day and recently a nasal steroid for my chronic
rhinitis
. The optician said that the steroids could be contributing to the increase in pressure.

Anyone else had problems with Salamol CFC-Free MDI Inhaler 100mcg
I was given this in place of ventolin. From the start, it seemed like a ventolin inhalor when it's blocked (slow and sluggish to spray) two weeks in and hardly used it just stopped working at all. My doctors surgery have said ventolin is no longer available on the nhs and have now prescribed me airomir

Concerned about ?asthma symptoms, what is significant and what is not
Basically for the past 12 years since I was 23 I have had chronic
rhinitis
with polyps. The polyps tend to be small but the
rhinitis
and congestion is bothersome. Latest sinus ct scan showed plenty room for airflow so the consultant didn’t think surgery would help.

How could AI help in asthma care?
I also think AI could help educate us on a lot of other diseases that coexist with asthma like sleep apnea, GERD,
rhinitis
, and adrenal insufficiency as well as nutrition, recommended vitamins, and so on.

Non Allergic Rhinitis when taking Bisoprolol
I would really like to hear from other members if they have suffered with the above whilst taking Bisoprolol. I’ve now been taking 1.25mg daily coming up to one year on the 1st March. Over the last week or so I’ve been experiencing extremely sensitive eyes, stuffy/runny nose starting from mid morning

Allegra for asthma?
Allegra seems like a particularly silly idea to me: I do not have any issues with allergic
rhinitis
and runny eyes from the pollen (the mAbs and 2 mg prednisone resolved that fully), all my symptoms are in the lungs. Does Allegra work for your asthma?

Managing occasional breathlessness
I got rather breathless on my walk today as it was unexpectedly cold. It happens. Recently I was changed from Ventolin to Salamol. I am fine with that in principle, but I have had mixed results when using it. With Ventolin I know it starts to kick in after 10-15 minutes, but the first time I used Salamol

Asthma cough
Been a bit snotty so I assumed it was
rhinitis
again - I have sterimar and neilmed sinus rinses. Ears feel " full" as well. A deep breath is enough to bring on a cough - even using my inhaler brings on a cough. I never had an asthma cough - just a wheeze.
