Adult Onset Flu after Chest Infection and Flu Vaccine
Just over a year ago I developed allergic
rhinitis
which I get very badly over the winter months. I went to see an ENT specialist last Autum who prescribed asthma inhalers and advised that I use them whenever I got a cold or chest infection.

well done AUK! pharmacist advice leaflet.
But what did put a smile on my face (as my head was pounding from my
rhinitis
) was a leaflet called 'asthma and advice from your pharmacist' that i picked up from the smallest possible chemist and it was the only one open at the weekend in the area (the emergency clinic isnt in the best of locations)

You know the kind of thing where it takes at least 3 consults to get heard:~/ The night before our consult I threw some of her symptoms into google and learnt about Perennial Allergic
Rhinitis

Debating Chamber no. 3 - Allergy and Parkinsons
Has anyone read anything about allergy related
rhinitis
and asthma pre-disposing to Parkinsons? I caught a glimpse of an article in the Nursing Times today but not sure which one it was.

Oh No! ... as if allergies weren't enough
A study by US scientists has shown that sufferers of allergic
rhinitis
, a condition that causes symptoms of having a “permanent coldâ€, appear to be at much greater risk of the degenerative neurological condition.

What to do now
My GP thought I might have developed
Rhinitis
and gave me Beconase nasal spray. This seemed to have made some difference. At the beginning of the month I got another cold. I doubled my Seretide, and after one week needed Prednisolone.

Gluten Sensitivity: Fact or Myth?
Asthma, Psoriasis, allergic
rhinitis
, eczema, glandular fever, random aches and pains? Well if so then this post maybe of interest. I've spotted similar concerns amongst Thyroid, RA, and B12 auto-immune patients on the sister Healthunlocked sites.
