Facial allergy
Hi I have been using
Relvar
ellipta
184 for seven days. I got a rash on my face, redness under my eyes. Could this be a problem with the new inhaler? I don't know what to do. Thanks for all the answers.

Update to “Inhaler”
I managed to get a face-to-face appointment with a doctor yesterday but unfortunately other events changed the outcome. As I’ve detailed in my Profile I also have an autoimmune illness and, due to a type of flare, I’d had to increase my steroids (from 6mg of Prednisolone to 60mg per day). I seemed to

Inhaler
I was diagnosed with COPD about 4 years ago. I had another lung function test the following year but have only had “telephone lung function tests” since then😩. The respiratory nurse at my doctor’s surgery retired last month and has not been replaced so I’m finding it difficult to get advice. Just before

Anoro Ellipta - have you had side effects
Hello everyone, I’m a newbie to posting on here but I have followed some of the chats and everyone seems so friendly and knowledgeable, I wondered if I could pick your brains. I had mild Covid in April 2020 and it left me with long covid, the worst effects of which for me are fatigue and shortness

I use Ventolin,

More inhaler questions
As I wrote last week, I started taking Spiriva again following problems with Trelegy Ellipta. Spiriva had been my first inhaler four years ago, followed by Anoro and eventually Trelegy. I’ve been really short of breath since re-starting Spiriva so I really feel I need to change. As I have no idea how

Update on “continuing member”
First of all, thank you for your comments and support. One thing I probably should have included in my post is that, although I was a member of this group during my late husband’s illness, I feel very much like a “new” member, in that I really need to be refreshed into the symptoms/progressions of this

I first joined this forum some 10 years ago when my husband became very ill with COPD plus various cardiac issues. He sadly passed away almost 6 years ago so my contact with the forum stopped. My own health was reasonable - just high BP - but was constantly stressed because of trying to help my husband

Copd review
So I turned up at the surgery for my review today, and was told by a different receptionist it was meant to be over the phone. (FGS) anyway saw the copd nurse asked all the questions I wanted to ask. I asked how do they know it's emphysema and not anything else, she said the spirometry determines this

Singer with Severe/Brittle Asthma (non-allergic)
I'm currently on 184/22
Relvar
Ellipta
and Salbutamol after trying every other inhaler available. They didn't work and made it even worse; Relvar now works but the GP says it's the strongest medication they have that works for non-allergic asthma.

Husband's COPD getting much worse - needs help
He currently has a blue inhaler for general use and a
Relvar
Ellipta
inhaler (92/22µg) for use once a day. He uses both as prescribed but is running out of his blue inhaler too quickly. He eventually had his annual assessment with the COPD clinic on 23 March 2021.

Anoro Ellipta... first use and will hopefully help me back to work soon
I used the Anoro Ellipta for the first time around an hour ago and can feel the benefits already, fantastic and only hope its helps improve my breathing the more I use it?!? I've not been able to work properly for the last 6 months, everytime I'd finish a job I need a couple of weeks off to recover

Newly diagnosed - my story
Hi, I'm now 48 and recently diagnosed with COPD I'd been unwell in December 2019 with flu like symptoms, once a little better I had a continuous cough but left it until March 2020 when I thought I best speak with a Doctor. I was given inhalers for asthma and over the months these were up'd to the highest

FeNO score
What surprised me was I'm on high dose
Relvar
, Incruse
Ellipta
and had been taking Prednisone for 3 weeks, this is the same score I had 18 months ago when first diagnosed and not taking any medication.
