After being Dx PCa Metastasis, any reason to regularly see an Urologist?
Told them the "active surveillance" strategy failed miserably after year 5, my pelvis MRI looked like scrambled eggs when PCa diagnosed (Dx) with PSA 1000+, your office only recommended radical
prostatectomy
(RP) as an option.

PC treatment with Irreversible Electroporation (IRE): Safety, efficacy and clinical experience in 471 treatments.
I haven't heard of this treatment before but the results look good; see www.urotoday.com (19 April) "The results indicate comparable efficacy of IRE to standard radical
prostatectomy
in terms of 5-year recurrence rates and better preservation of urogenital function, proving the safety and suitability

Issues with erection post radical Prostate surgery
He had a radical
prostatectomy
6 weeks ago. He had almost no issues with urinary incontinence straight after the catheter was removed. BUT now he is worried about erections. How long does this take to come back, if ever :( He is 56 and super fit.

Update
I am scheduled for a
prostatectomy
Monday with Dana Faber. My prior PSA scores were 83 and 79. They found no spread on bone scan and pelvic MRI, but they were up front with me that the margins may be a problem and I may need follow up radiation and ADT. Today’s PSA score was 98.9.

Upcoming Hormone Therapy and Sex
Underwent
prostatectomy
(clear margins, lymph clean, seminal vesicle removed, but extraprostatic extensions) later followed by salvage radiation due to PSA recurrence. At this point my PSA has increased every three months from 0.11 to 0.4 to 1.16 which is a PSADT of approximately ten weeks.

Time between Radical Prostatectomy and Metastatis
Hi there, As my dad is about to start treatment (Radiation and hormone therapy) I’m feeling anxious and sad. Weak Legs & More
I was diagnosed with aggressive pc (gs 7) and made decision to have a
prostatectomy
followed with radiation sessions of prostate bed, all done in Virginia. PSA dropped down, all good. Later while in Florida my PSA started rising.
