Pradaxa. Benefits and problems
Pradaxa
terrifies dentists and most will not even do a filling while taking it. Recently had a biopsy in hospital and they would not touch me unless I had stopped taking
Pradaxa
for three days.

Does anyone take
Pradaxa
just once a day. If so, what was it prescribed for?

New to all this
Fair enough, but was getting over the pericarditis(breathing problems, bloating and a few more things) and starting to feel half way human, then went onto full dose
Pradaxa
, and feel like crap.

AFIB AFTER EATING
I was given metoprolol,
Pradaxa
and told to lose weight.I get Afib episodes 7-8 times per month lasting 4 sec to the longest very recently was 8 minutes. In the past 2 months I have been getting palpitaions after eating, which triggers the Afib. Anybody else has this problem? Thanks. JN

! I was admitted, a Dr checked my credential, pills, wellness. My H/R was 77. BP fine. I was good to go.

Ablation trade off?
I’m on
pradaxa
and had a cardioversion last year that didn’t help. I haven’t been on any AF meds but am scheduled for a catheter ablation in two weeks. I’m still very active and don’t notice the AF much except for some general tiredness.

AF and Singles Vaccine
I am new to this forum, my history being a F73 and have had very symptomatic PAF since 2015 and was put on Sotalol,
Pradaxa
and amlodipine for BP. In 2018 I had a cryoablation and got off the Sotalol which was replaced by 2.5mg of Bisoprolol to help with BP.

Did anyone here know that Sleep Apnea can cause AF?
Now on Digbox and
Pradaxa
till 8 weeks to check clot has gone and then attempt 3rd ablation. In the intervening months and after last ECG it would seem he has AFIB, A Flutter and Tachycardia. The idea was to sort both AF out then go through his heart from right to left and fix Tachy.

Stroke Risk From Afib & The Role Of Blood Thinners
Then, when I was scheduled for my Ablation this past March, my EP insisted I start on
Pradaxa
which I have been on ever since. This story from Pennsylvania raised this issue in my mind again: Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor, John Fetterman suffered a stroke on Friday, May 13.

Anyone having this problem?
Also taking 150 mg
Pradaxa
twice a day and Metoprolol Succinate 50 mg once a day. My leg muscles, on both legs, from knee to thigh feel weak and sore. I was taking Eliquis but stopped that because I thought that may be what was causing this problem, but it's still with me.
