Doing so well - but cause for concern now.
On the 12th January 2012, I had a left lung
pneumonectomy
and on the 3rd February, three weeks later, I had a good part of my bowel removed.

3 month checkup: X-ray v CT
My mum just had her first checkup, five months after a
pneumonectomy
(and 3 months after she had postoperative scans). As a standard procedure, the oncologist ordered an X ray and blood test. Both came back clear and he said everything is fine and he'll be in touch again in another 3 months.

Pneumonectomy
recovery. I’ve unfortunately read some horrible stories regarding recovery and am feeling so anxious. My operation is in a few days time. Thank you

Scar pain
some of you will have read in my past posts that I had a left lung
pneumonectomy
last july as a result of a squamous carcinoma. I have recently started to experience pain in the vicinity of my scar. It is a new winge and I’m taking codeine for pain relief.

Lower back pain
Good Morning folks, I had a left
pneumonectomy
last July and finished chemotherapy at the end of November 2018. This was for squamous nsclc. For the last week I have suffered from lower back pain at the base of my spine. This wakes me every night, so surviving on a couple of hours sleep a night.

Chemotherapy or not?
Then I had a right
pneumonectomy
in 2010 for cancer. Now my haematologist is talking about more chemo since my platelet count is around 34,000 and the infiltration of the bone marrow is at around 95%. I would like to know what happens when the infiltration of the bone marrow reaches 100%?
