Life as it has been for me since I can remember.
After a the tests came back positive as per the APS protocol I was placed on a baby Aspirin and
Plaquenil
. I continued to see Rheumy and things were starting to get back in March of 2011. I still had pain, still suffered from fatigue but I was able to deal with it.

was feeling a little low
I am also on 600mg of
plaquenil
daily...I am not normal!!!! So I gently encouraged him to give me clexane until I am seen at St Thomas'. I felt like a bit of a bully but at the end of the day, I want to be well enough to get to that appointment next week.

Prof Hughes' blog - September 2011
She had had a long history of lupus, treated variously with
Plaquenil
and steroids over the years, and without severe kidney damage. Two years previously, she developed increasingly severe headaches, marked fatigue and widespread aches and pains.

The improvement of patients with this clinical combination after starting
Plaquenil
and anticoagulation is often striking. The disappearance of the livedo is something we often see following successful warfarin anticoagulation.

Prof Hughes' December 2011 blog - last blog!
Her doctors started her on aspirin and
Plaquenil
. What is this patient teaching us? Firstly, of the many alternative diagnoses this patient received – migraine, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, celiac, Sjogrens etc, some were helpful, some not.

Awaiting definitive diagnosis?
She said the final indicator (APS or Lupus or both, not sure) would be if the
Plaquenil
she has prescribed works. She also mentioned putting me on anticoagulants. I don't understand how medication can form a diagnosis for APS.

WORDS LIKE ‘ADVERBS, GERUNDS, NOUNS’ ~~~ I USED THEM EVERY DAY, BUT NOW THEY HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH WORDS I CANNOT SAY… BLOOD TESTS,
PLAQUENIL
AND CLOTS, DIZZINESS, AND RINGING EARS. THIS STRANGER SEEMS TO MOCK ME SO, I SHAKE AND TREMOR AS I GO.

Not the whole truth because I've forgotten most of it!
I'm taking
Plaquenil
and Prasugrel (allergic to aspirin) and have felt an improvement in joints and ulcers and migraines since starting the prasugrel. OMG I nearly forgot the migraines!

Does your INR level affect the way you feel?
After that just aspirin,
plaquenil
and other bits and pieces. I had a TIA just after Christmas so they thought maybe I should be on warfarin long term. I felt fuzzy headed and dizzy for two weeks after the TIA until my INR got up over 3. Suddenly I felt better than I had in years!

Plaquenil and effects on the eyes
Do any of you have experience with the effects of
Plaquenil
on the eye, and if so, will you please share your thoughts and outcome with me? I have recently begun having problems with my eyes. I have been on
Plaquenil
for about 15 years with no adverse effects that I am aware of.

plaquenil
... her up to 12 funny turns a day now down to two or three plus a dampening down of other things.. a drug which is out of reach for me due to my psoriatic arthropathy. Here is to a bright spring. Mary F x
