Phentolamine

Combination medications include BiMix, which is papaverine and phentolamine, and Trimix, which contains all three medications."

I've been pressing my Urologist to prescribe a bi-mix of Papaverine and Phentolamine but he's not been responsive to my queries about this. Have any of you had a similar experience? How did/does bi-mix work for you?

Addition of alpha-adrenoceptor antagonist phentolamine, beta-adrenoceptor antagonist propranolol, nitric oxide (NO)-synthesis inhibitor L-NAME, nerve conductance blocker tetrodotoxin, or cyclooxygenase inhibitor diclofenac did not affect the T4-induced inhibition of contraction.

Basic low dose Trimix: alprostadil 10 mcg/ml, papaverine 12.5 mg/ml, phentolamine 0.45 mg/ml.
