EF Question
It was a
perfusion
one-day rest/stress protocol. The isotope used for nuclear imaging was technetium tetrofasmin administered intravenously. My left ventricular post-stress EF was 73 %. The left ventricular resting EFwas 72%.

Can you have angina without ischaemia?
However, a myocardial
perfusion
scan which was conducted last year in May 2022 showed areas of reversible ischaemia, which is slightly contradictory to the results found in the CMR with
perfusion
. Unless this ischaemia has resolved with time.

Finally my cardiology appt.
Perfusion
scan showed nothing wrong structurally, so clearly faulty wiring somewhere in there. I am feeling so emotional today. Cried several times which is not like me. I'm really hoping I get some answers and a treatment and diagnosis Tomorrow.

Angina symptoms
I’ve also had an Echo recently, my EF is 45% with nil concerns & now waiting for a
perfusion
test. Over the last couple of months though during jogging after a few minutes I get very slight chest discomfort, when I slow down it goes & as the session goes on sometimes this goes completely.

maybe I shouldn’t ask questions
I had a nuclear
perfusion
scan last month to measure my ejection fraction and was told that it had increased from 44 to 53%. The cardiologist was very happy with the result. This morning I made the mistake of asking the echo technician what my EF was and was told it was about 44%.

In February I was then sent for a Myocardial
Perfusion
Scan and Stress Test which showed 5% ischaemia and then in May 2022 I had a balloon angioplasty.

Adenosine in CMR with Perfusion
I have a CMR with
Perfusion
scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday (28th). I have done some research online and it states that Adenosine is used for the scan.

weak left radial pulse after ablation
I saw my GP today who said he agreed but had not come across this before and mentioned something about my
perfusion
being alright? He did not seem too concerned and has not referred me anywhere but I am now worried having asked Dr Google who offers lots of frightening reasons for this.

Myocardial Perfusion Scan issue
I recently had a MPS; however, the consultant said he could not intepret the results as my heart and intestines are too close togeather, thus there is an overlap in the images. Has anyone experience of this?

Climbing the walls after perfusion scan
Cardiac team have tried to get to the source of the problem …. 5 day monitoring in hospital, angiograms ( 3 since 2019) etc So last week I attended Southampton hospital for a
perfusion
scan to find out why I am struggling with ongoing angina. They did a chemically induced stress test.

Letter from Cardiologist- Advice please
This contains a little more detail about my recent Myocardial
Perfusion
Scan, 24-hour monitor, and ECGS. My sensible brain is telling me that the letter below is reassuring, but my anxious mind is pushing all sorts of negative narratives.

Concern over heart issues affecting the brain, thought patterns, concentration etc.
Got put on 1.25mg Bisoprol to try & slow the VE's. 5 months later and i'm still awaiting a date for a Cardiac
Perfusion
MRI investigation and a follow up (i.e. my 2nd) Cardiology appointment date It seems to be that they consider it 'low risk' , especially as i hadn't noticed palpertations = 'long

A Hospital admission and another failed attempt at a CT Angiogram 😥
The cardiologist suggested a Myocardial
perfusion
scan would be a good idea for me. The scan would be done at stress and rest. My questions are: Has anyone had a Myocardial
perfusion
scan and what was their experience of the scan? Is Myocardial
perfusion
scans as good as a CT Angiogram?
