Discharge at 6 week review
I had my CABG last September and was expecting a 12 month review. Having moved house in the interim, I phoned yesterday for an update only to be informed I was discharged at my 6 week review. Is this normal? I was hoping for some sort of check up, some reassurance, and general overview.

Early days advice after heart attack
I had my heart attack last week. I am 49 with no underlying health conditions other than carrying an extra couple of stone. I eat healthy, exercise when I can. It's still early days for me. I am waiting on Cardiac rehab, I have heard mixed reviews about this. Will be 3 weeks post HA until I speak to

Annual health ( Cardio ) Check
Hi all Nstemi and 1 stent fitted March 2020, have had telephone conversation with Cardiologist along the lines of ‘ how are you ‘. replying ‘ I’m ok thanks ‘ and no more contact with any doctors since ( Cardiac Rehab completed). My question is, should I be having an annual cardio health check at GP

Atherectomy
Two months ago I posted about the decision to have a bypass when suffering from HF. I had major blockages in all three arteries which could not be stented normally. The cardiologists made the decision for me on the basis that a CABG was too risky for me.. They suggested an Atherectomy on the main artery

Stent fitted 6 weeks ago , some pain and twinges.
I had a heart attack in bed 6 weeks ago, and the took me direct to theatre identifying my middle artery was blocked. Hey fitted a stent immediately and I was released a few days later. I’ve been doing the exercises and kept up with the walking group with the cardiac rehab physio team, and I think I’m

Statin and liver damage?
I came online to see if anyone had odd liver tests from statins. Specifically atorvastatin. I had to go for an abdominal scan today and had a lot of blood tests, I’m on 40 mg of atorvastatin. And have been on them for nearly a year since I found out I had HD and had a stent last summer. I only had LFT

Coronary spasm and percutaneous coronary intervention for refractory cases.
Has anyone had stents if there condition is not well controlled? Ive read this in a few articles, also read that stents can be a focal point for spasms hence not used.

Atorvastatin and Abnormal Liver Function Tests
Having tried Atorvastatin at 80mg and then 20mg which worked great for my cholesterol levels but both caused abnormal liver function tests which now following a six week lay off without statins have returned to normal. My cholesterol is now back on the high side however with overall being 5.8 with non

Stent fatigue
I had couple stents fitted Sept 2020 , after 1 month I developed a fatigue sympton in arms and legs which I still have 24/7, all blood tests come back clear and cardiologist insists it has nothing to do with medication or stent procedure ; has anyone else had this phenomenon and if so what did they
