Musculoskeletal MRI scan

Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone has experienced what has happened to me

For the past 2 years I have been experiencing some aches and pains in my back and chest, this occurs usually if I sit for long times or do severe exercise

In April last year I was given a stent an there was a 75% blockage of my LAD I have been taking all the usual meds Bisiprolol 80mg of Astorvastatin and triclorigor

Since then

Some days I am fine and some days I still got the aches like yesterday when I played golf got to the 14th and it started

I have been to my doctors and they really do not help at all and are very dismissive, I paid privately and went to see a cardiologist and he got me a heart MRI scan which is really scary, however when I went to see him the results showed blood flow to the heart and through the main arteries was fine and he duly wrote to my doctor

My doctor read the report after I asked him to go through my records and I am now awaiting an appointment with a musculoskeletal unit for an MRI scan

My belief is I have not done enough excercise only walking which baring in mind my previous fitness regime is minimal

Would posture have a contributory factor as I have always had a desk job??

My GP really does not help at all, does anyone have a similar issue

Does sound like you’re correct about the exercise. I have had similar issues and when I finally disciplined myself to do the correct core and stretching exercises there was a huge improvement but it did take a while and it got worse before it got better.
