Any tips on injecting interferon (Pegasys)?
I've recently started on
Pegasys
(my third injection will be on the 9th March) and I was wondering if anyone would like to share their experiences of injecting interferon?

The Beginning of Treatment 2006
My medication is
PEGASYS
* (interferon) and COPEGUS* (ribavirin) One needle a week and six pills a day. Other meds were Tylenol Ultra as needed for headaches; not more than four a day; mostly I needed two.

It Has Started!!!!
Anyway, Carla said that I may feel like I have the flu tonight around supper time or so, from the injection of
Pegasys
. Right now, I have absolutely no symptoms at all.

My First Side Effect
I was told that this may happen from the
Pegasys
injection. It is slightly red and it is a little itchy, but not much. Hopefully it won't get worse but I intend to call my nurse-practitioner, Carla, tomorrow and see if I can get some cream or lotion for it.
