Back from having my blood gases and walk test done, outcome is to increase the oxygen to 3L from 2L when sitting and sleeping, to increase from 2L to 6L ambulatory/walking about. (Was having real trouble just getting from room to room) Hope this helps and I can get back to work soon, also tried saline

Hi everyone, I hope your all well. Got back from Wales yesterday and have loved every minute of it. Did exactly what we planned to do and that was WALK. I have suprised myself because I was`nt at all well before we went, I`d had 2 lots of anti-biotics, 2 lots of steroids and had used a nebuliser so

HELP
Hi, Bit of a rush post because I'm feeling a little anxious & confused. Normally I wouldn'd hesitate but would appreciate some feedback! In March my daughter was admitted to hospital after a cough turned into another bout of ashtma. She was diagnosed at that time with Viral Asthma at the age of 4.

New job and neb.
So I told my new supervisor I will need to use my
nebulizer
at work at times. She was nice about it, but said she would find out how I could have some privacy.

Nebuliser or Not?
I know similar issues have been covered before, but I'd really appreciate some quite specific advice. I was living in London, 5 minutes walk (literally) from a large A&E. My consultant there said I shouldn't have home nebs because I can deteriorate quickly and if I need nebs I need to be in hospital

Freeman
Well outcome of my visit to the Freeman Hospital, he has basically said a transplant is not for me 1) both lungs stuck to my chest wall due to previous operations. 2) Fungal ball/infection in one of my lungs. He will ask the surgeons if there is anything they can do but he also said don't hold your breath
