MPN(D) Related Fatigue – MRF – Survey
Fatigue is a big issue with patients who have MPDs, and perhaps worst in patients with
myelofibrosis
(MF), but it is also present in the majority of people with essential thrombocythaemia (ET) and polycythaemia vera (PV).

Exemption from prescription charges for MPD medication.
In 2008 the World Health Organization – WHO – reclassified all the MPDs, polycythaemia vera - PV, essential thrombocythaemia - ET, and
myelofibrosis
- MF, as ‘myeloproliferative neoplasms’, hence the use of MPN on some websites and in medical papers, though we still use the term ‘myeloproliferative disorders

Welcome to the MPD Voice community. Who are we and what do we do?
The point of this community is to provide a space where you can share your experience, support one another, and become better informed about MPDs (myeloproliferative disorders) which include polycythaemia vera (PV),
myelofibrosis
(MF) and essential thrombocythaemia (ET).
