Long and winding road
ok, this is going to be long and I've put off posting before as my history is complicated. I was diagnosed with FAP a rare genetic bowel condition at 8 where I had thousands of polyps in my bowel. I ad my large intestine removed then and a full permenant ileostomy n 2000. Everything was good for a while

Zoladex fail
Had zoladex last year for the first time and it worked brilliantly. I then had it again in January but with Livial, this time it didn't work. went back to gynae and he said it can't be endo if zoladex didn't work. Have had scans and blood tests to check for other things. I am convinced it is endo as

Any positive experences with deceptyl injections without hrt livial/tibolone fallback?
I ask as i am on these but am getting menpause symptoms anyway, and the livial has some very unpleasent side effects hair loss being the most upsetting followed by headaches and dizzieness.I will more than likely be stopping it anyway in a couple of months for hysterectomy and a pharmacist told me it

Tibolone headache
I am on my third week of Tibolone / livial and my second month of GnRH. I have been having terrible pulsating headaches/migraines since starting Tibolone. I read the bumph in the packet and it says you must seek medical help if severe headaches. I've been at the doctors so much recently that I think

How long after having last prostap injection do I stop taking livial hrt? help!
Hi, this is my first question so be gentle with me! I have had 6 prostap injections and also took livial hrt as side effects were bad. I had my last injection 7 weeks ago and no-one seems to be able to tell me when to stop the hrt or when my cycle will return to normal. I tried to stop the livial 2 weeks

Livial. What are the con's?
I am on my third injection of Prostap, and am struggling a bit with the side effects. Hot flushes, mood swings, night sweats etc. So my specialist has written me a perscription for Livial, but I have seen (on here) some-one say it feeds endo. Is this true? And if so, why would it be perscribed to us?

Endometriosis and Kidney Infections are ruling my life!!
4 years ago I began having kidney infections and after having 1 every other weeks for 12 months, constantly having antibiotics thrown my way, I was finally referred to see a urologist after having, flow tests, ultrasound scans, credit scans nothing being found to be the cause, I was put on 6month low

Zoladex and Livial
My daughter has now started treatment for her benign tumours - "benign" but growing - with the anti-hormone injection Zoladex and is taking Livial orally. I asked before whether anyone had had experience of anti-hormone injections shrinking tumours. At that point I did not know the name of the anti-hormone
