Linezolid

Had aortic valve surgery and still on antibiotics (linezolid) as I had sepsis. Also on omeprazole, bisoprolol and and aspirin. I have a horrible metallic taste that is stopping me eating and drinking. Water and tea taste awful.

Bedaquiline + PA824 + Delamanide +Linezolid +meropenum....... I thought co trimoxazole ( sulphamethoxazole combined with trimethoripm) was already known about long ago and is in any case a long standing antibiotic yet that was mentioned in the essay re the 'new drugs' .

My daughter got a bacteria meningitis after her 12 days, she stayed 1 month in hospital treated with Linezolid and Penicillin.

the doctor prescribed to tablet Linezolid 600mg. I observed the pain relief after taking lots of water and going frequent urine. I don't have pain now. I am yet to start taking the tablet. Still should i take the tablet as i don't have pain?

Antibiotics administered during hospitalization were : Imipenem, Linezolid and Colistin. She is discharged and better now but still on oral antibiotics – Ferropenem and Nitrofurantoin. She is getting pus cells (about 10-15) in urine while still on antibiotics.
