TSH low
I hope someone can advise me. Had bloods done last week to check my thyroid, it hasn’t been checked for over 18 months. The doctor wanted to see me about the results my TSH was 0.5 which she said was far to low. I said what was my T4 and T 3 she said they don’t request that. I said you can’t just do

Levothyroxine
I would discuss your results with your GP and also let them know what oral iron vitamins etc you are taking and make a decision from there. You should be able to book a telephone consultation. Goid luck

Help interpreting iron panel
Hello I am hypothyroid, about 5 years & take just under 100mg levothyroxine daily. I have a high T4 & low T3 and see a private endo who has offered to prescribe T3. I'm generally feeling ok but do struggle with puffy & very sore eyes, dry skin & high cholesterol. I am thinking of trialling the T3.

How Do Those on T3 or Combo Therapy Navigate TSH Obsessed Doctors
After my pitiful NHS results in December ( before starting self sourced T3) my GP increased my Levo to 200mcg a day. I haven't been taking that much, obviously as I'm taking 150mcg of Levo and 12.5mgs of T3. The GP I spoke to said retest February and unfortunately my surgery have been uncharacteristically

Hi everyone, I am on 100mg Levo and 15mcg Lio daily and I feel OK. As I have an appointment with my endo soon, and doing NHS blood tests is rubbish due to the timing issues, I have just done a private blood test. I know my Endo is going to focus on my TSH which is negligible but my T3 and T4 levels

Levothyroxine dose
Hi my son has hashimotos, & has worked out that he needs 200mcg levothyroxine each day to function okay.He has suicidal ideation & emotional intensity & this dose helps him feel more stable mentally . The problem is his tsh arent showing he needs this high dose anymore so the gp has decreased it to 125mcg

Anyone experienced HbA1c increasing after starting T3, and increasing more when Levo reduced, does it settle , is it temporary
hoping to find out, if it will eventually right itself when thyroid issues are treated optimally. I think/hope it might but would be good if others have any experience references that could back up my intuition. I was px venlafaxine early 2019, had never had any blood glucose issues before that. Lipids

Levothyroxine was reduced late September 23 from 100ug to 75ug due to TSH 0.03. Have gradually been feeling the effects of this it seems. Now feeling very tired, not thinking straight - brain fog, reduced appetite although crave chocolate (didn't know reduced appetite was symptom until very recently)

types of thyroid meds
I have been looking at types of thyroid medications, and wonder if anybody has used desiccated thyroid instead of levothyroxine? I will be seeing my endocrinologist tomorrow and suspect they will put me on medication. When I had my biopsy, the nurse told me she has good news and bad news, the good news

D mannose
I wondered if it's OK to take a maintenance dose of D Mannose close to levothyroxine? I take levothyroxine before bed and would like to take D Mannose in the evening too.
