Hi there I have received my latest results and would love some advice as to what to do next! I take 1 NDT and for this test split it into two doses (as advised on here) to be sure of an accurate result. Should I increase my dose? I am struggling with weight lose (or lack of it) and wonder if that is

Blood results and dilemmas
Hi everybody, I was diagnosed with a 1.5 cm thyroid tumor (non-cancerous for now) and Hashimoto hypothyroidism 2 years ago (accompanied with low D3, low B12, low iron, high antibodies). I was put on 100mg Euthyrox (levothyroxine). I also started supplementing with B13, D3, iron, and many more supplements

What is the cost of NDT and private treatment?
Hi everyone, I’m currently on NDT under the NHS but have told I will need to go back on levo if I want to start a family. I’m really unwell when on Levo so looking at options for staying on NDT and have seen online some people have been able to take privately whilst pregnant. Does anyone know the costs

T3 No prescription Wanted
Hello Everyone, I was diagnosed hypothyroid over 15 years ago. Initially, I was on levothyroxine alone, that lasted for a long while. After doing my own research, because there was no real information provided by the NHS, I managed to get a referral to an endo, which I have been under for many years.

Is there a link between NDT and migraines?
I had a migraine yesterday; I was incapacitated for most of the day and had to wear my sunglasses indoors until 5:30 because I just couldn't tolerate the brightness of the day. I've only ever had one migraine before (and it was mild compared to this one!) And it was when I was heavily pregnant with

Background: I’ve been buying Thyroid S for several years as it was cheapest but even that price has increased significantly so considering switching

Is there a role for Natural Desiccated Thyroid in the treatment of levothyroxine unresponsive hypothyroidism?
Newly published paper. Conclusion:
Significant benefit
and, as ever, more research needed.
No-one can ever again legitimately say "There is no evidence..."

My hashis journey - t4 to NDT to t4/NDT to t4/t3 - what next?
I have learnt so much reading posts and replies over the last while, and it seems I have finally hit a bit of a wall with my own experimentation and would absolutely love your thoughts or advice you might have for me. Since being diagnosed with Hashis, I have tried a number of methods for medicating

Medicheck results just in
Hi all, I’ve recently had this test done at 9:30 am, fasting, last dose of NDT taken the afternoon of the previous day. I’m on 1 grain of armour thyroid taken twice a day. Does anyone have any comment on the results? Is my T4 low in range and does that matter as my T3 looks good? Is the TSH too low?

Hashimoto's and not feeling better
Hi there! I'm wondering if it is possible to just never feel better (lethargic, mentally slow, unable to concentrate/difficulty reading, fatigued, short of breath, etc) when having hashimoto's? Like do some people just feel bad for their entire life despite doing all the right things? I know other people

Reasonable NDT increase?
Hi all, I've been lurking here awhile. I recently started taking Erfa 30mcg a day alongside 75mcg levo as prescribed by my endo. I was previously on 150/125mcg levo alternative days. I've been on NDT&levo for a little over 2 weeks now and I felt great at first but I've dipped and the anxiety that I
