Ibrutinib - Excessive Itching
I am wondering if there is some kind of side effect from
Ibrutinib
that we aren’t thinking of. Does anyone else have this type of issue?

Now, I'm not sure how long I should wait to resume

Zanabrutinib
I was treated with
Ibrutinib
for about 2 years, and taken off after a grade 3 event (SVT Tachycardia). It was decided I would stay off treatment until progression.

Cancer drug found to contain life-threatening bacteria
Incidentally, there are allegedly the same issues in China where the FDA theoretically oversea some drug production but they are obfuscated from inspecting production and QA records It’s worth noting that
Ibrutinib
will be coming off patent soon and may be manufactured in India.

Serious itchy sores preventing sleep
I have read from others that large red very itchy spots can be a side effect of
ibrutinib
, which I've been taking for 3 years now. I had a previous session with the itchy spots and it just went away, but this one is brutal - sleep is all but impossible.

In Oct. 2021 he showed symptoms, SLL, and began treatment with
ibrutinib
. It was great and produced no side effects. Now his lymph nodes are again swelling. As of PET scan in December, his spleen and other organs are roughly normal size.

Zanubrutinib vs. Ibrutinib Patient Power Video by Dr. Jennifer Brown MD PHD
Brown is very clear about the advantages of Zanubrutinib over
Ibrutinib
- especially for 17p and patients with heart risks. https://www.patientpower.info/chronic-lymphocytic-leukemia/2022-ash-conference-report-cll-btk-inhibitors-update?

allergies
My inclination is to think that the
Ibrutinib
could be making me ever more sensitive. The CLL itself is well under control and so I do not think that is a factor in this event. Does anyone have any comments on this? Thank you, Kunderke
