GoLYTELY

Is there any alternatives besides drinking GoLytely. Has anyone done this that’s in a wheelchair and moves very slow to the toilet.

My GI doctor uses the 4 liter PEG prep (trade name Golytely). I've not had a colonoscopy before so certainly nervous. I've read that this type of prep (huge amounts of sodium) can be a problem for folks with heart or other health issues.

Please share your experience as I've got it again and despite having appointments with the gastro docs, nothing cured it the last time I had it, back in 2020, and I suffered with it for seven months and only stopped suffering after consuming Golytely prior to a procedure, which was odd.

The Golytely is better because in the past I got to mix it with The Orange Juice. The nurse was trying to tell me that The Golytely is on back order. I don’t believe it.
