The
fostair
inhaler was stopped due to side effects and was switched back to Clenil alone but my symptoms didn't fully settle down so after 6 weeks I was started on serevent.

Asthma's my latest diagnosis!
Anyway, that was the 'can't be COPD' message, and I was pushed onto
Fostair
, which ... makes no bloody difference! Still can't breathe properly, still very uncomfortable. My peak flow figures (EU), taken morning and evening, are usually between 600 & 625.

What could this mean? Worried
I was put on
Fostair
which helped a lot until recently. About 3/4 weeks ago I had an attack and was given Prednisolone which relieved it. I was also given Montelukast by my GP as he could see my asthma wasn't under control. Well a week ago I had another attack.

Brittle Asthma exacerbation + pneumonia
I am currently still taking:
Fostair
4 puffs bd, pred 40mg (for over 3 weeks now), montelukast 10mg. The pneumonia seems to be steadily resolving, I have been off antibiotics for 5 days now.

Any tips coping with Asthma when outside in the cold please
Have had a terrible year, then found
Fostair
was great for me only to be allergic to it (hives and fast heart rate). So back on QVAR which doesnt really work for me in the meantime.

Dog dander allergy
She then changed my inhaler to
Fostair
. I have never heard of this and it panics me that I don't know anyone on it. I am going to spend a few days at my parents to see how I feel away from my dogs, and just take two puffs of Qvar twice a day whilst there and see how I get on.

Sinus tachy
On an average day i think my resting HR is around 90bpm, assuming ive not just taken my reliever, (but have taken my
fostair
and uniphyllin) and during an attack i tend to sit around 120, even with b2b nebs.
