Am I underplaying this?
I called gp and I’m back on steroids for around 3 weeks (as 5 days full dose then reducing a tablet every 4 days to wean) I’ve doubled
fostair
and am also on antibiotics. Second day of steroids and pf up to 440 ish so gp happy I’m improving. My question is this..

Going back to my childhood... (Nightmares)
Hi all, I've been on
Fostair
200/6 for 5-6 weeks now, I was on the lower dose of
Fostair
before. Has anyone had vivid nightmares on their steroid inhalers? Forgive me for the long story.. Let's turn back time. I was around 7/8 when I saw the film 'The Witches' at primary school.

Prednisone first time
Hello lovely people Due to my symptoms worsening since the weather got wetter and colder, I’ve been changed today from clenil to
fostair
. Im not worried about this but I’ve also been prescribed a 6 day course of prednisone and I’m terrified of taking it.

Is Fostair 100 mild or strong?
Also,is
Fostair
100/6 a mild or a strong inhaler? I'm suspecting I need stronger meds as whenever the weather is windy and rainy (which is quite a lot) my breathing is very bad.

Fostair headaches
I’ve recently changed from Clenil 200 x 2 twice a day to
Fostair
100 x 2 twice a day due to problems managing my asthma (found mould in our bedroom wardrobe). I’ve been taking it for 4 days now & asthma is hugely improved. However, keep getting headaches.

Brittle asthma
Taking
fostair
, spriva respimat, 40mg steriods daily, allergy tabs and monkeluskat. Respiratory consultant, GP and asthma nurse have completely scared me by saying that I had severe asthma attack, that if my peak flow drops to 200 I need to go back to hospital.

Spirometry testing??
That was months ago......after having to take only the
Fostair
, 2 puffs, twice a day, for all those months, I now find I'm needing more Ventolin.

Steroid card with Fostair?
I have been on
Fostair
200/6 2 puffs twice a day since Christmas- I recently read that I should carry a steroid card - does anyone know if this is the case? I have also recently started taking Montelukast. Thanks!

Symptoms that go away without inhaler?
Before I was started on
Fostair
(oh my goodness! SO much better!) last week I often found that I would get symptoms, but because I didn't like the wobbliness that the blue inhaler gave me, I would try not to take it.

Change in my asthma
I have just started taking Montelukast and just before lock down my
Fostair
was increased to 200/6 after a bad period of asthma. This was unusual and I normally struggle with my asthma in the winter months and not spring / summer.

Advice on next steps
I take
fostair
200/6, montelukast and a large amount of blue inhaler at the moment. The gp say they cannot do any more for me because of what I am on, that's why I have been referred.

Can anyone recommend a respiratory clinic
I tried
Fostair
for a bit but I think that didn’t work as well and made me get palpitations - not sure as I have been suffering from anxiety anyway. I was wondering whether I may have the fungal infection people talk about? The worst thing is the mucous plugging.

Fostair nexthaler 100/6 one puff twice a day
I agree to change to
fostair
nexthaler as he gave me the impression it could be taken on demand. As my asthma is seasonal winter only and mild and well controlled. I used to take it only in winter. My mum told me otherwise she said it should be continuous as it is a preventer and reliever.

Do I need to be more patient?
I’ve been diagnosed with serve allergic asthma on Omalizumab,
Fostair
200/6 2bd & qvar 100 4 puffs twice a day, ventolin as required. On montelukast, carbocestine, fexodenadine, various nasal drops. Had a flare up two weeks ago & had to attend a&E twice despite having 40 mg prednisone for 5 days.

Does fostair nexthaler canister needs to be shaken?
My question is as above. Just got a new prescription and noticed on the label it says shake well before use. I have not done it before as it is in powder form. Thanks

So post hospital D/C where I was for 5 days relvar changed to
fostair
200/6 tiotropium, avyms, loratadine 10mg, Piriton 12mg a day prednisolone now 15mg (fluctuates between 10mg- 40mg since jan)as it's part of the problem and I need to come off it - agreed 🙂 so I asked for the plan of coming off?
