Exacerbation of asthma
I've been started on an inhaler with budesonide
formoterol
and fumarayr dihydrate. I'm still having symptoms and night time symptoms. Does anyone know if this is a good inhaler to be on? I've previously been on seretide but they said they wouldn't prescribe that.

Anxious
GP has given me Duaklir Genuair inhalation powder Aclidinium/
Formoterol
Fumarate dihydrate which is a long acting bronchodilator! I have not taken it yet as so many awful side affects I am really scared to take it. Has anyone heard of this drug or similar?

New to this forum joined on behalf of elderly mum
The tests came back clear so I took her to the COPD clinic at the surgery and whilst her results weren't perfect the readings were not too bad, (she managed to blow the house down) the nurse decided to change her ventolin inhaler (the after flow test was worse) to
Formoterol
which seems to have helped

Mild asthma? No asthma?
. - both ventoline and
formoterol
work well. However, in pretty bad nights during a flare-up I wake up and might need to take meds up to three times. -Experimenting with omeprazole now as I think it's possible to have reflux without really noticing it.

Asthma and GORD (GERD)
Then I tried a green one (
Formoterol
?), but it has the same effect on my GORD. Is there a bronchodilator that will not affect my GORD? Sorry it's so long. Weston

Worst things people have said/what not to say to someone with a lung condition
called leukotrienes which, if they were to bind, would cause inflammation as part of the immune response; anticholinergics (ipratropium, tiotropium) inhibit acetylcholine (ACh) production in the lungs, decreasing spasticity of smooth muscle; beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonists (salbutamol, salmeterol,

formoterol(laba) and quick relief
For a project on asthma I have been doing some research on
formoterol
and I have found conflicting opinions on this medicine.

Symbicort not Working Properly?
I have been on symbicort (alternating between 200/6 and 400/12 during flare ups) for the past year, which I know is a combination of
formoterol
& busesonide. Prior to this, I was on a clenil modulite inhaler (200mcg twice daily) which I believe was a different steroid (beclometasone dipropionate?)

Asthma's my latest diagnosis!
Then it was time for
Formoterol
for some reason, still a COPD victim I was, and that did sod-all as well. So I kept up with my steroid inhaler just to take the edge off.

Fostair - New Inhaler
I'm presuming the Reliever is
Formoterol
fumarate dihydrate and the steroid preventer is Beclometasone dipropionate. Just really wanted to know if anyone here has had experience with this Inhaler and their thoughts on it's effectiveness.

Symbicort versus Advair (No I am not an advocate for either Pharma! merely making info available)
MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 17, 2013 /CNW/ - A second analysis of data from real-world study PATHOS, recently published in the British Medical Journal, shows that treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with SYMBICORT® (budesonide/
formoterol
) was associated with a lower incidence

can anyone give me some advice on Symbicort turbohaler?
Hi all :) Yesterday I was prescribed a budesonide/
formoterol
(200/6) turbohaler. I used it last night and this morning and both times I've noticed a gritty feeling in my throat afterwards. Am I doing something wrong?

Inhalers don't make any difference ?
Formoterol
. These I have to take daily. Then I have a Salamol to take when needed. I tried a little experiment. I didn't take any of them for 2 days. My Sats stayed the same and I still got SOB doing the same jobs or walking etc whether I take them or not. Any ideas anyone? Just to add.

Hello all. About my COPD
A 12 hr one,
Formoterol
Easyhaler and Salamol for when I need it. To be honest, none of these seem to make any difference but maybe that's just my imagination. Any comments gratefully appreciated.
