What to do when Adderall XR stops working.
I've been taking Adderall XR for several months now and it doesn't seem to be working any more. Anyone had this problem? What did you do?

CBD to mitigate side effects
Hi all! So after about 2 years, my 15 year old has a good regimen of adderall XR 15mg. She was not using it on weekends but has started, saying that it's helpful in other aspects of life - like even not getting frustrated by not have focus to clean her room properly. She'd said before that she gets cranky

Experience with Insurance denial of Mydaysis (or other medication) process from denial of prior authorization to 3 level final review?
My insurance company has denied a new prescription for Mydaysis. My provider believes it will help with my Adderall ER tolerance. Ultimately the denial was upheld although I have taken EVERY adhd medication with the exception of Focalin (currently taking to move process along with NO success) and Strattera

Adderall xr doesn’t seem to work as well?
Hi everyone! So glad I found this resource. I was tAking vyvanse 40mg and adderall 10mg to help me think faster/concentrate for about the last year. For some reason, my dr is against stating a diagnosis. Anyway, It was great for a while but then I had to see a new dr and now my insurance won’t cover

Quillivant and Adderall side effects
My 7 year old has tried Quillivant XR and Adderall...he has bouts of crying, gets cold, irritable and does not want to do what he normally would (play outside, be silly) until meds wear off. Has anyone experienced this and changed to a nonstimulant? Any advice is helpful, thank you!

Recently diagnosed with ADHD- relationship issues
Hello everyone. I've recently gotten diagnosed with ADHD- it explains so much- the forgetfulness, impulsiveness and disorganization. Tried going to a behavior therapist; she told me more about herself than helping me. In any case, my relationship is suffering because of my ADHD. I am now finally

What is the difference between Adderall and Adderall XR?
How different is the simple Adderall to Adderall XR and how do they function in our body for the treatment of ADHD? Which one is more efficient then other?

Medication and prescriber advise please!
I went to see a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to see if my anxiety issues were stemming from ADHD and if adhd meds could be helpful. After a 20-30 min interview/discussion she agreed that ADHD sounded likely and prescribed Vyvanse. We started with 20mg and went up to 30 when I followed up a month later

Booster for Vyvanse
I’ve been taking Vyvanse for years. Since about 2012. I was on 40 for about 5 years then went up to 60 & 70. Then I stopped at my own discretion. I decided to get back on but my doch had retired 2 days before I called. Wtf right... He referred me to another dr that he mentored which turned out great

Calming activities pre bedtime?
My son is 7 with ADHD on Focalin and he gets severely hyper before bedtime and we can't seem to find anything to help him calm down. I also suspect he is a sensory seeker as he is constantly in motion, down on the floor, all over the place. We read books, I've let him read in bed, we pray, do deep breathing

Focalin as afternoon booster
Hi, I’m on 30mg Vyvanse, which I usually take around 8am. It seems to work pretty well from about 9:30-2 or so but I find I need an afternoon coffee to stay focused and even that won’t be enough on the days that I work late. My dr suggested trying 5mg of Focalin around 2pm and that I don’t need to take

Finding help after ADHD diagnosis post menopause
I am a 67 yr old female who has had a rough 16 years since menopause, with still no resolution for the correct meds for me. I was put on antidepressants at the start of menopause at 51, then wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until 61 - after 10 years of utter brain fog and apathy (and lost 4 jobs in a row).

Severe congestion associated with focalin for ADHD?
Hi there, mom of 8 year old boy with ADHD. We started my son on Focalin last March and he has had a severely congested nose ever since. We tried switching meds but the reality is they have the same drugs in them. Has anyone else had this experience? So far we chalked it up to coincidence and have tested
