Does anyone else panic about accidently overdosing on their inhaler?
Ok, so I know that this is going to sound completely ridiculous but I'm on
Flutiform
and I always panic as to whether I've taken too many puffs!

Can anyone advise?
I reached for my old
Flutiform
inhaler and things have quickly improved - does this point towards a possibility of asthma after all? Are there any other conditions that would respond to a steroid inhaler in this way?

Flutiform reaction and non responsive Clenil
Now I am on
Flutiform
but my symptoms seem worse. I may have answered my own question but was told not to change back. I have constant pain around the inside of my chest wall, or the outside of the lungs, constant clearing of the throat and zero physical or mental energy.

On the Fostair it says that each dose is 100mg - I was on a 250 mg
Flutiform
, 2 doses in the morning (500 mg) and 2 before going to bed (another 500 mg). So what do I do? I will try having 2 doses am and pm and see how it goes.

Flutiform v Seretide
Anyone else had a letter from their surgery informing them of a change to their medication from Seretide to
Flutiform
? Thing is I have had no consultation and my hospital specialist will not know about it.

Inhaler advice please
I have been using both Eklira and
Flutiform
but asked my consultant for a single inhaler that meets all my needs. We are trialling Anoro Ellipta (once daily) and I also have Salbutamol during the changeover but I do cough constantly and this has increased of late.

Stepping up / down Questions
Following a few struggles when i moved to
Flutiform
125 from just a steriod preventer I had another consultation with the asthma nurse and we agreed to step up my dose to 4 puffs twice a day instead of 2 puffs twice a day so equivelent to the
Flutiform
250 which the nurse was in two minds about giving

Pharmacy followup phone call & Is it still considered 'mild' asthma?
I have just been prescribed
Flutiform
125, 2 puffs twice a day as my asthma wasn't sufficiently controlled on the preventer alone (previously 400mcg-800mcg per day of Qvar for the last 3 months or so).

Flutiform 125 to Seretide 125
However, with this switch I have lost the flexibility I had with the
flutiform
so I can't increase my inhaler when and if I need to anymore. I am stuck with taking 2 puffs twice a day.

Spirometry
I've been on many inhalers including
flutiform
which hasn't improved my breathlessness and just yesterday I did a spirometry test. For my SVC it was alright but for my FVC I couldn't do it.

Change of inhaler
He is changing my inhaler from Eklira &
Flutiform
to Anoro Ellipta (dual bronchodilator) once daily and I'm interested to hear other people's experiences of this inhaler. Apparently I will need a Salbutamol (blue) inhaler too during the changeover.

Shortness of breath at the start of the day.
I have
Flutiform
& Eklira inhalers. Heart, kidneys, BP etc checked out and in good shape. I am noticing that I am most short of breath in the mornings, particularly first thing and I wonder if this is usual? I am at my best in the middle of the day before beginning to tire later on.
