Bleeding gums , help.
I’ve had a lot of bleeding from my gums, not sure if it’s from colchicine,
flecainide
, bisoprolol or tablets to protect stomach. Does anyone suffer with this and any tips to stop bleeding or protect gums . Plus has anyone experienced weight loss with colchicine. Thank you.

Successful ablation
Flecainide
to stop immediately, Verapamil to stop in 3 months. Everything seems to have gone to plan, hoping it stays that way.

Anticoagulant as a PIP? Is this possible?
I have lone AF, soon to be prescribed
Flecainide
+ beta blocker, both as PIPs if needed. So far, very predictable. However I also have an appt looming with an Anticoagulation Team. And here's the rub.

Coming off drugs b4 ablation
Plus
flecainide
(Na channel blocker). All fairly low doses. I have to come off them before my fourth ablation for four days so not looking forward to that. Anyone experienced withdrawal symptoms doing same?

To go to hospital or not?
My wife took me to A&E as I refused to call an ambulance - 4x my usual dose of Bisoprolol, being put on a drip and then finally 300mg of
Flecainide
I felt my heart go back into sinus rhythm and the heart monitors thankfully went quiet at 11am!

Experiencing short runs of irregular beats, 3 months post ablation.
My cardiologist reckons they are ectopic salvos, and has prescribed 50mg
Flecainide
twice daily with 1.25mg Bisoprolol. This has eliminated all the single ectopics I've been experiencing during the day, but not these frustrating runs at night.

Feeling pressured into ablation!
Do I up my dose to 100mg of
Flecainide
a day along with 1.25mg of Bisoprolol, go for a risky ablation or simply do nothing?

Covid and AF
I couldn’t get through to the hospital cardiology department for advice ( should I try increasing the
Flecainide
for example?) Having Covid when you have AF seems to be an additional scary thing. Is anyone out there going through it, and do you have any advice. I’d be so grateful to hear from you.

Off beta block and Flec prior to Ablation?
The EP asks me to stop taking Metoprolol (50mg 2x) and
Flecainide
(50mx 2x) four days prior. Additionally to stop amlodipine day of procedure. What are peoples’ experiences who have done this?

AF Fraud? And has anyone found UK support for Afib diet?
They wanted to prescribe daily
flecainide
but agreed I could try it as PIP (it helped a lot having a chart of my episodes over the last 4 months). They seem quite keen to give me an ablation but I'm not quite ready for that and want to understand the risks better, either way.

Flecainide
Just been recommended to take
Flecainide
twice daily. Have read about the side effects and wonder about other people's experiences with the drug before I actually start taking it. Was your first dose administered in a hospital setting, are you being monitored in any way.

Flecainide or ablation for atrial fibrillation?
My partner has recently been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. He has been offered either medication or ablation and he has opted for ablation as he does not want to be on medication for the rest of his life (he is early 40s). The consultant said it is a complicated procedure with risks and 1 in 200

Nightly Afib Now
Not sure what to do going forward but the daily
Flecainide
doesn’t seem to make any difference and Afib still breaks through?

Are these AFib effects permanent
ve got my resting heart down and the bp but still triggering AF (but now rarely feel it so the drugs are helping that) it does keep sending alerts that the AF is still paroxysmal but slow plodding walks runs heart at 115 I am so concerned though- is this how I’ll stay now even post CV and hopefully

Flecainide and Dilitiazem. What are your side effects?
Two weeks ago started taking 50mg of
Flecainide
twice a day plus 120mg of time release Dilitiazem once a day. First week a little rocky with several afib episodes and runs of ectopics (PACs and PVCs) that were terminated within 1-2 hours with an additional 50mg of

AF returned
Took PIP
flecainide
. For the first time, in those 3 hours I could not stand up, everything went black and I was in danger of collapsing. Never happened to me before, just need reassurance as I’m getting really scared that what is happening is not normal

Released documents from Pfizer on side effects
I was looking for advice about drugs I could use to relieve the symptoms given that I’m on
flecainide
and bisoprolol.
