Damned neutrophils
I've had
filgrastim
injections, eaten so much papaya and leafy greens as well as sweet potatoes but still not high enough. My chemo started back in January but there have been so many delays due to low neutrophils that I am still going.

With a CLL diagnosis, knowing more about your immune system could save your life!
Your specialist may prescribe Granulocyte - Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) injections (Granix, Neulasta, Neupogen,
Filgrastim
, Zarzio, etc). These are injected into the subcutaneous stomach skin via a very fine needle and boost neutrophil production.

Filgrastim 😬😬😬
Been given
Filgrastim
injections to boost levels, but OMG 😮 the discomfort in my lower back is unbelievable. All I can compare it to is birth contractions. Only used three out of the five but am wondering if I can bear to have the last two!

Late/delayed effects of taxol and filgrastim (neupogen)?
She had regular injections of
filgrastim
to keep her white cell count high, and although it worked, it gave Her terrible aches and pains. Her last scan was good and we were told the next one would not be needed until June.

Interruption of Venetoclax
Question was whether to inject again with
filgrastim
or to interrupt Venetoclax. My doc choose for the option of interruption. Next week another check to see if neutrophils go up and probably a reduction then of the Venetoclax.

What are you pedalling, Mr Prime Minister?
Erythropoietin (popularly known as EPO) and perhaps
Filgrastim
may be familiar drugs to those of us that have needed treatment to bring our blood counts up.
