I'm new to the site! My story!
In 2009, my lymph glands swelled again and I was told I would need to have
FCR
treatment (Fludaribine, cyclophosamide and Rituximab).

My 3 years of living with CLL
Within 8 months the white cell count had risen to 150k so I commenced a cycle of
FCR
. I was meant to have six treatments but felt so bad after five that I didn't have the last one.

Sinemet CR
I have recently been prescribed Sinemet CR in addition to my usual meds of Stalevo and Requip XL to help with sleep problems. Is efficiency of meds affected by weather?
I realise that this sounds a stupid question, but was wondering if anyone has found this to be the case? I have been away in my caravan over the last weekend. When I am there my meds usually last longer, but this time my tremor has been much worse. I don't know if this is because it was extremely cold

Sinemet CR and sleep
I have recently been prescribed Sinemet CR to help with my sleep, or rather lack of it. I take 4 x Stalevo 100mg and 1x8mg Requip XL daily. I have been taking last Stalevo at about 7pm and Sinemet at about 10pm when going to bed as advised. I am still waking after about 2 hours. I know a lot of people

Anyone know how long the waiting list is for DBS at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London?
Hi everyone, hope you are all okay. I had my consultation this week. I was told that the only option for me was DBS as medication is not working. Next step is to meet with the DBS Team at Queen Square. I am now left in a situation where I am simply trying to manage this rather precarious situation

2 x Madopar CR, 100mg taken 11pm tonight - ambulance called at 2am? Why did this happen?
I am not sleeping well at the moment. My GP suggested that I try 2 x Madopar CR for bedtime dose to see if that helped. I took them at about 11:30pm (I also had Baclofen in my system to calm painful leg dystonia). I fell asleep. I woke at about 2am this morning and felt a bit weird, like my blood

Sinemet best practice - take a tablet when you feel you need it or stick to 3 times a day and be uncomfortable.
I cannot stick to 1 tablet of Sinemet, 62.5mg 3 times a day as directed by my PD Nurse as I definitely need one every 4 hours or I wear off and have very uncomfortable, painful restless leg syndrome. I have started taking 5 a day and then add in Sinemet CR 25mg Levodopa at night to try and get some
