After two years, My trial has now stopped working
The clinical trial combo of olaparib(lynparza) and cediranib that I've been on for nearly two years has stopped working for me. My PSA is escalating along with more lesions and nodules that are more prevalent from my previous scans. My past history has involved docetaxel, radiation, casodex, zytiga-prednisone

Why am I always cold?
Why am I always cold? I have recently finished 6 Docetaxel infusions and have been on Casodex and 3 monthly Eligard shots since January. Before my APC diagnosis, my internal thermostat always ran hot, but now I seems to always be cold. My wife would be rugged up with multiple layers and I would be

Great news
I was diagnosed June 2018, started with Tamoxifen, switched to Ibrance,
Faslodex
and Zometa. I will have another pet scan in 6 months. I pray you all get “nothing lit up” results from your scans. God bless.

Great News. Scans Update.
I had my first Pet scan since starting Ibrance/
Faslodex
combo in December this past Monday. 6 months in and things are looking pretty good. Lots of decreased activity in the nodules. I have Pleura Mets. I’m not as knowledgeable as many of you are on the terms and numbers, but I know a decrease.

Rising PSA
I was diagnosed in June, 2018 with PSA 37, Gleason 4+4. Had external radiation in Nov, 2018. Been on Zoladex and Casodex for two years. PSA was around 0.05 until 6 months ago when it rose to 0.3. Just had my most recent test and it's now 0.9. I have an appointment in a month for another shot

Cancer May stabilize on ibrance after some progression?
After being on ibrance and
faslodex
for 8 months I had some progression in November and very little if any progression on my scan the end of January. She said I may not have to do the clinical trial this summer and might still be able to stay on ibrance for a little while longer.

May I whine here?
I am on Day Five of
faslodex
/ibrance. It hasn’t been terribly bad, except I have found myself tiring easily, and today some bone and joint pain started to set in. But my problem is my husband. He is making me feel like I’m a disappointment to him or something.

CA 15-3
She is on Ibrance 125mg,
Faslodex
and Xgeva. She has extensive bone mets, but PET-CTs are showing important reduction on SUV levels (From 16 to 3.5, for example). My question here is about CA 15-3 levels. She started with 352 and gradually reduced to 86. Now she is 86/88 for 4 months in a row.

Possible threat of tumors breaking through to bladder or rectum.
When my husband was diagnosed in 2007 they did not remove his prostate. He was diagnosed stage iv. Since that time we've gone up and down with concern over tumors increasing as we've fought his psa rise and fall. We are in one of those periods of rising psa. He's lately had pain that he says feels

Phone call from my Oncologist
Firstly, she gave me the great news that the cost of Ibrance/
Faslodex
would now be free of charge. Previously it was costing $852.00 per month. Yippee! Not sure if Phizer or the Ontario government is absorbing the cost.

Hello everybody! Today we got the result from my husbands tomography of the abdomen and everything was ok! He has got a slowly rising psa, but as Gleason 9 and initial psa of 32 I am wondering about the sceleton xray that we still do not know the results from. We have chosen not to know actual psas..

If casodex switches to feeding PCA
If casodex switched to feeding PCA would not XTANDI do the same thing since they are similiar drugs?
