Next time you feel sorry for Big Pharma
Cost of Nilotinib at Costco with a GoodRx coupon 4 dose packs (28 capsules) of Tasigna 150mg the coupon price of $13,624.19 If there were 28 days in a month, $13, 624.19 X 12 a one-year supply at 150 mg/day would cost $163,490.28 in the US If a PWP (such as myself) had a compounding pharmacy

Nilotinib Does Not Show Promise for Benefit in Phase II Nilotinib for Parkinson’s Disease (NILO-PD) Trial
Nilotinib seen to be safe and tolerable, but study strictly excluded those with heart issues or other health challenges No observed clinical benefit nor biological effect seen c-Abl remains target of interest and research in Parkinson’s disease NILO-PD steering committee has accelerated announcement

Request update on Nilotinib effectiveness in slowing progression of PD
In 2017, someone posted positive results through off-lable use of Tasigna as a means of stopping PD. Request update.

Important!! Canadian Dr. who prescribes Nilotinib Off Label
I have been following Georgetown University’s research with the use of Nilotinib, the 12 person trial, and the phase 2 75 double-blind recent trial. It appears to me that the drug is well-tolerated, safe if precautions are followed, and the results seem to indicate that it will arrest the progression

Nilotinib (Tasigna) Warning related to QT Wave and Sudden Deaths
I realize the Phase 2 CT for Nilotinib has gotten some very positive reviews on this forum, but just be aware of some of the serious downside with this drug. My first point should be obvious to anyone who has thoroughly read the results of the CT conference presentation or you can scroll down the comments

Thumbs up for Nilotinib - Phase II Trials
Those of you who are following clinical trials for repurposed drugs that offer potential to slow or halt the progression of PD will no doubt recall the highly favorable reports from the Phase I trial of Nilotinib that was done at Georgetown University and was reported on in October of 2015. You will

Off label testimonials for Tasigna
I have been searching though this site and others looking for detailed testimonials on Tasigna off label . unfortunately I’ve only been to locate a few which were helpful. I am currently putting together a document that I can present to doctors when requesting their help with off label program for myself

Complex 1 inhibitors cause aggregation of a/syn and tau.
Getting rid of inhibitors gets rid of aggregates (What Nilotinib is supposed to do). A lot of (ordinary) things are inhibitors and they are adding to the list all the time: Examples: Aspirin Tetracycline, doxycycline, etc. Oxylates (spinach) Alcohol Beta blockers Some antidepressants Metformin
