I'm getting ready to purchase Nilotinib from GlobalRX in Canada. Is there anything I should know/be aware of?

There are some threads on it if you do a search. I think (but I'm not sure) that there are some regular tests that should be done if you take it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just coming off a 2 yr trial and nilotinib helped. Unfortunately, Novartis isn't helping with the cost of the drug, yet. Hopefully that will change soon. There are a lot of tests and I will continue those through my movement disorder specialist.

Hi BeKind1,

Do you mean the overall result of the trial was positive ? How much did it help you ?

How long before something is published ?

Thank you for sharing.

What sort of symptoms did it help with?

BeKind1, I am still involved with the GU trial (voluntary extension) and plan to continue with Tasigna beyond the trial extension. I have a copy of the full report on the trial which I would be glad to email to you. Perhaps also of interest is the fact that I am seeking sources of nilotinib outside the U.S. frank.mundo@gmail.com

FMundo. Could you include me in any study results you are privileged to receive. There is an overly cautious release of the study results rushakin2@icloud.com. Thank you

You mean, be aware of about globalrx specifically? Or buying from canada in general? Or nilotinib as an off-label drug? (which I see you are already taking...)

I buy stuff from canada, not nilotinib though, and not that specific company (just because I price compared, no other reason). And I've bought from europe too, a possibly PD-helpful drug (in trials) which is not yet approved here in the US.
