"Together, these in vitro and in vivo data provide new insights for understanding the mechanisms underlying high-dose-DHT suppression of the EnzR {

Darolutamide & Simvastatin?
Although patients can benefit from
enzalutamide
at the beginning of this therapy, acquired
enzalutamide
resistance usually occurs within a short period. This motivated us to investigate the mechanism involved and possible approaches for overcoming
enzalutamide
resistance in CRPC.

My trial update 12 weeks in - Positive results
After Actinium225 infusion on day 1 + Keytruda infusions every 6 weeks (3 so far) + daily
Enzalutamide
, had updated blood work and scans at week 12. Bone and CT scans showed stability. Ga68 PSMA scan provided much clearer picture and results.

Clorgyline & MAOA redux. {Treatment-Induced Neuroendocrine Prostate Cancer [NEPC].}
"Here, we generated an
enzalutamide
-induced NED cell model to assess the role of MAOA during NED. Overall, MAOA expression was significantly increased upon Enz long-term exposure and was required for neuroendocrine marker expression.

What Next?
So after starting
Enzalutamide
six months ago we now need to move onto to the next treatment due to it having failed. Considering his oncologist told us
Enzalutamide
would only work for a month at best and if at all, we have to be happy with that.

VERU-111 (sabizabulin)
To be eligible, you have to have metastatic castration-resistant PCa and have failed at least one of: abiraterone,
enzalutamide
, darolutamide, or apalutamide. You may have had up to 2 cycles of chemo, but it had to be over a year ago.

Amusing Story
I told her I wanted to talk with the doctor about whether it was better to continue aberaterone or switch to
enzalutamide
while doing Lu PSMA, and discussed creatine for T cell energy in the hostile tumor environment, going into detail about the reasoning.

Eight weeks into hospice. Strange experience.
No surgery, instead 40+ rounds of radiation, Lupron, casodex, aberiteron,
enzalutamide
, three clinical trials, don’t remember how many rounds of chemo (does 10-12 sound right).

Update on LU 177 and Journey
I had my first Lu-177 infusion in Febuary 2021 after
Enzalutamide
(Xtandi) stopped working and PSA increased to 50. My first infusion reduced my PSA to 3.1. My second infusion on 8 April 2021 reduced my PSA to .65.

Chasing rivals, Bayer files Nubeqa for new prostate cancer
Part of that will be to include patients with metastatic, hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) on the label, a group with more advanced disease that is already treated with blockbuster oral androgen receptor inhibitors like Pfizer/Astellas Xtandi (
enzalutamide
) and J&J’s Erleada (apalutamide).

Palliative radiation
As far as treatment is concerned, the doctor has recommended pelvic radiotherapy for bone pain followed by
enzalutamide
/docetaxel. Does the radiation have any serious side effect? What about the elevated temperature? Need suggestions. Thanks
