This research is in the early stages, but it sounds promising: a new drug agent ZEN-3694 and
enzalutamide
have been used in combination to halt disease progression.

BRCA ... Rubraca?
"The FDA has said that phase 2 data suggest the drug could represent a new therapy option for men whose cancer has progressed despite chemotherapy, and treatment with androgen receptor therapy such as Pfizer/Astellas’ Xtandi (
enzalutamide
), or Johnson & Johnson’s Zytiga (abiraterone)." https://pharmaphorum.com

Xtandi enzalutamide side effects dizzy/seizures
After having a dizzy spell while shopping at Costco to prep for the big weekend, my husband ended up in ER for most of Friday pre-Labor Day. What he experienced seemed to me like momentary seizure as earlier at Office Depot he had stared off into space and swayed sideways. No he is not having a reaction

A history of PSA readings, how accurate are they?
(PSMA PET Gallium scans showed bone metastasis in shoulders and lower back pre Lutetium treatment as well) From JULY 2018 PSA starting to rise again to 51 then started on
Enzalutamide
or Xtandi for 3 months to see if this would halt the rise .

Pain in the Prostate (worse after TURP)
My previous MO said I had to stay on Zoladex as well as
Enzalutamide
. I'm not sure which one is right. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Hormone refractory/ castrate resistant
If you respond to Zytiga/
Enzalutamide
are you still considered hormone sensitive? I assumed my husband was hormone refractory once his PSA started rising on Lupron/ Casodex combo. It’s still to be determined if he will respond to the
Enzalutamide
.

Deciding on Chemo or alternatives ?
I have read that if you have a negative ARV7 test that
Enzalutamide
might still work. If I have a negative ARV7 then perhaps I could get a few months from
Enzalutamide
before starting Chemo. Can anyone comment on that sequencing strategy? My doc seems to be pushing me toward Chemo.

Enzalutamide is sapping my energy and spirit
Been on this drug for 4 months and PSA is still rising past 100 (at much slower rate though). I also hate how I feel on it - really yucky, super fatigued and brain fogged (nasal blockage issues too). All this only really started in the past 6 weeks or so. Also finding exercise extremely difficult - steady

Starting Abiraterone/Pedizisone
Two things have happened since I stopped
Enzalutamide
. I was told to stop taking
Enzalutamide
on Tuesday because they were going to overnight Abiraterone/Pedizisone. Didn’t happen as planned, didn’t start new treatment till Friday. However, the pain in my shoulders, hands, and arms has subsided.

Activity and Safety of Enzalutamide in Patients with mCRPC Previously Treated with Abiraterone Acetate Plus Prednisone for ≥24 weeks.
The prospective data herein show the antitumour activity of
enzalutamide
in patients who progressed following ≥24 wk of abiraterone and support the use of
enzalutamide
in some patients in the postabiraterone setting.

New to site.
I am presently have a rising PSA on
Enzalutamide
and will be going on Abiraterone/Pedizisone pills. I guess I need a place to vent with people who understand. My family support has been great. They have been there for me with all the ups and downs.
