Lopressor
Also on
Eliquis
. Vision is blurred and very unsteady gait. Hr around 100-115 (was 60 when in NSR) Can I cut back on Lopressor and see if symptoms go away or will it make my HR race up again. Would appreciate any help.. Feeling miserable since back in Afib.

The US insurance I have for Medicare recipients increased the
Eliquis
price by about $900 for 2024. That puts my total price for the year, including the deductible, at about $2,000. I simply can't afford it so I'm considering alternatives.

I have the Atriclip that occluded my left atrial appendage, as I had a near fatal hemorrhage with
Eliquis
. I will be contacting my Doctor tomorrow, however, I was hoping to get some feedback from some of you folks who have gone thru the same thing.

Strange packaging
I have just opened my new box of
Eliquis
, and instead of every pocket in the foil strips containing a tablet, some are empty. The box still contains 60 tablets, but why these empty pockets ?

So now I’m wondering if I really have Afib and if I am taking the blood thinner
Eliquis
unnecessarily. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Afib cure
I have A fib and take
Eliquis
twice a day I heard there’s some type of book called a fib cure. And it prescribes some type of diet. Does anyone know what the diet is that they talk about in that book?

afib and surgery
My fear is that I will go into persistent AF prior to surgery which would then be dangerous to come off the
Eliquis
. I am so frightened because I had the episode today (HR around 80 and lasted from 4am-1pm).

Considering ablation
I have been on
Eliquis
for about 4 years, had afib around once every 3 or 4 months now more frequent weekly. I am a little concerned about having the procedure at my age and if I do proceed what type of anesthesia. I am more prone to ask for GA I don't want to know what is going on.

Afib questions
I am taking Sotalol 80mg twice day and

blinding period success!
I remain in Normal sinus rhythm and will be able to discontinue my
Eliquis
! However 3 nights ago I began to have PAC’s. Today I recorded them pretty consistently 3-6 per minute. So bummed as I haven’t really even been aware of my heart beat in last 2 months.

Affect of tummy upsets on anti-coagulants,
I was wondering what effect it has on the absorption of anti-coagulants, should something cause you to have diarrhoea - how long does it take after ingestion does it take something like an
Eliquis
tablet to become effective ?

NHS black box warnings for anticoagulants…..
However, there was a fairly old reference to an American webpage called Drug Watch which said, “the
Eliquis
drug label comes with the following Black Box Warning: Premature discontinuation of any oral anticoagulant, including
Eliquis
, increases the risk of thrombotic events” It would be interesting

Anyone have Post-Ablation Good News
I doing better on the 50 mgs and the doctor didn't seem to object on my recent visit as long as I continue to take my 2
eliquis
pills daily. Comments welcome. MY QUESTION: Can anyone tell me a success story about their ablation operation.

Update on AFIB after Doctor visit
Increased
eliquis
to 5 mg twice daily. Said after shock treatment that it may come back. Also said alcohol is a definite trigger and to have no more than two drinks per week, Never was much of big drinker in last ten years ,maybe six drinks per week so I guess for a while I will stop altogether.

Apixaban Eliquis vs Teva
Anyone had issues with Teva Apixaban? My wife has been switched from Eliqius to Teva and now has a number of side effects (anxiety/emotional, nausea, headaches, balance) that she never had while taking Eliqius for 9 years.

Coagulation for Afib
After recently having an EP study and cardioversion the cardiologist wants to put me on Redoxaban as I refused to take
Eliquis
. I have a pathological fear of taking blood thinners. At the sign of blood I would have to stop them.
