Effient

Meds were Metoprolol 50mg and Atorvastatin 40mg After the stents: LDL-C has been around 53, ApoB 64 A1C 5.4 Blood Pressure 110/70 (around this) Meds were Metoprolol 50mg Extended Release, Rosuvastatin 20mg, Losartan 12.5mg, Aspirin 81mg, Effient was given for a year Exercise - strength training

I am on 50 mg Toprol, 20 mg of Altace and 10 mg of Effient, daily, 15 mg Jakafi 2 x a day and 81 mg aspirin a day. And Crestor 30 mg 2 x a week. I read that it is important to control BP with an aneurysm and to not lift over 10 lbs. I don’t see my cardiologist until Jan 10.

Is it the effient that is making me so fatigue and sick? Patez

I have been put on Effient aka Prasugrel. Has anyone had any experience with this drug? Also, my pre op labs revealed that my platelets are up to 923, hematocrit 50.1, WBC 17.84, RBC 5.9 so everything has gone up a lot in 4 weeks. Thankfully, I see a REAL MPN specialist on November 8th.

I am now on aspirin 81, wafarin and effient (a platelet slicker), just to keep from clotting. In august of this year I began having excruciating pain in my left foot that only hurt when I put weight on the foot.
