Experiences with

Duphalac

We have started her on some Duphalac that the pharmacist recommended.

I have spoken to my doctor, she suspects constipation so she is on Duphalac, but this is not making much difference. Any advise or similar experiences out there

When I talked to my doc they just ask me to take multivitamin and duphalac syrup which is not helping. Plz help me guys I want you suggestions.

She gave me duphalac (think that’s how you spell), movicol, buscopan and colpermin. Buscopan was amazing and takes the pain away in literally 15 mins. Colpermin also works wonders for me and gives off a lovely peppermint smell and taste!

Duphalac doesn't suit me as it causes much bloating and flatulence. I used to take a Senna + Triphala+ psyllium husk based laxative by Dabur ( I 'm in India) that worked wonderfully. But I'm told that Senna and Triphala interact with blood thinners and cardiac medicines. Anyone having any idea?

Since duphalac etc does not suit me, I am taking a Triphala based laxative, daily dosage contains about 1 gram of Triphala. I have heard this herb hampers functioning of the cardiac medicines? True?
