ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE NUMBER HIGHER
Can
Docetaxel
chemo treatments cause the alkaline phosphatase number to rise? One month my husbands PSA rose and they said it was the cancer cells dying off.... and it went back down to 3.03. But this is the first time his Alkaline Phosphatase number has risen.

6 Docetaxel Treatments vs. 10 Docetaxel Treatments?
Based on these findings, my oncologist has recommended 4 additional
Docetaxel
treatments (from 6 to 10 total treatments) while coninuing the Lupron. I understand that there are some studies pointing to the benefits of 10 treatments vs. 6 treatments.

Advice Needed, Abiraterone Failing?
(
Docetaxel
) Could anyone give me some advice on my outlook? Can a low PSA of 8.20 be a serious issue, especially the rate of rise over a short period? I am 63 in October of this year. PS I was told by my GP when I was 57, I was too young to have a Prostate Cancer test!

My father PSA is 157 after 8 sessions of

with 150 mg dose and 2 months Abiraterone after chemo. His health is not in a good way, anemia, loss of appetite, nausea and neuropathy.

QoL - a great gig last night!
This is one of the reasons (the main one, actually) why I'm not too unhappy that the NHS didn't offer me triplet therapy including
docetaxel
chemo - neuropathy of the hands would be a massive hit on my QoL and I'd like to maintain the ability to play songs like 'Hit me' for as long as possible.

PSA ranges
Except for the
docetaxel
series, my own experience with side effects was minimal and I'd have to say that the side effects to me from my first cycle of Pluvicto was almost nothing at all.

Docetaxel, Chemotherapy
Hi, Have you tried
Docetaxel
before the Zytiga? My dad did the
Docetaxel
(6 rounds) before the Zytiga and it killed a TON of the cancer. He was only on ADT for 2.5 years after the chemotherapy. Wishing you the very best, Karyn

Other Gleason 8 guys, I see in studies, research and in on going trials, Radical Prostatectomy shows better over all survival
Started Firmagon 7/6/2022 Zytiga with Prednisone 7/20/2022 and
Docetaxel
Chemotherapy on 08/11/2022 Ductal Prostate Cancer is aggressive, it cannot be monitored by psa score alone. As it can still spread by low non existing psa numbers.

Docosahexaenoic Acid Reverses Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition and Drug Resistance ...
This study was aimed to examine whether docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) could reverse
docetaxel
resistance in prostate cancer cells. Cell survival was examined by MTT and colony formation. Protein expression was determined by Western blot.

Cabazitaxel Versus Docetaxel
The MO's fellow discussed that the MO would likely make a decision between Cabazitaxel vs
Docetaxel
. When the MO came in she decided since my dad tolerated
Docetaxel
quite well that she recommends starting with that for 10 rounds starting in Dec.

Eligibility for Lu-177
He has already received
docetaxel
abiraterone and cabazitaxel. But his disease keeps relapsing. Doctors asked for the test NGS with Brca. His test results results are negative. is this test mandatory mandatory for lu-177 ?? My father is suffering from severe pain.

My Cousin John Is Gone
My PSA went down for a while, but it came roaring back in 2019, at which time I received six sessions of
docetaxel
chemo followed up by monthly or quarterly shots of Eligard and then Firmagon, later being switched to once-daily Orgovyx.

On to docetaxel
He’s letting me take my 10 day holiday in Aruba and start
docetaxel
upon my return. Any pointers on the chemo? Will I lose my hair? Anything I can do prior to treatment or during treatment to lessen the side effects? Thank you very much!
