How long after chemotherapy you return to your "normal" pre chemotherapy?
Between March and July 2022 I had six rounds of
Docetaxel
+ Carboplatin and I dont seem to recover ,mainly fatigue. Can not bring myself to some decent level of energy.

The potential of using circulating tumour cells and their gene expression to predict docetaxel response in metastatic PCa: 14 Dec 2022.
We evaluated CTC measurements for post-
docetaxel
outcome prediction using receiver operating characteristics and Kaplan Meier analysis.
Detection of CTCs pre-
was associated with poor patient outcome post-

Started Triplet Therapy this week, new doc, new (better) treatment plan!
New doc’s plan:
Docetaxel
, NUBEQA, Eligard (triplet therapy) with Reclast or Prolia for bone support preferably after a DEXA scan. What an amazing difference CoH was, from the parking lot to the actual doctor.

Alternative to Zytiga/Abiraterone?
Would the appropriate alternative be to substitute Enzalutamide or
Docetaxel
for the Abiraterone? Or, maybe just drop the Abiraterone, not replace it, and just do Lupron with radiation??? Other than aggressive prostate cancer, he’s slim, fit, active, an athlete, and healthy.

Mr. Spouse 21 is on rewind: Stable again!
The only out-of-the box treatment was 10
Docetaxel
infusions, not 6--rough. He even kept his port in from 2018 until last year since he was sure he'd be getting Jevtana, Pluvicto, and some of those other treatments.

After Abiterone stops working, would Darolutamide be an option?
The doctor is wanting him to start
Docetaxel
chemo and I know it has terrible side effects. I read somewhere that trying Daralutamide msg be an option. Has anyone tried this? Also, what is the difference between getting
Docetaxel
or Cabizataxel? Many thanks in advance

Pluvicto / Lu-177 - Do it now or later?
I am a metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer patient having undergone most SOC (RP, SR,
docetaxel
, ADT, Xtandi, Zytiga, Oliparib) steps. Now, like others, faced with very limited remaining SOC options: another round of the dreaded chemo like
docetaxel
or Lu-177 / Pluvicto.

How to combat fatigue and low energy from Docetaxel treatments?
Hi all, My dad is currently going through chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 prostate cancer (see bio for full details). He had his 3rd chemo treatment one week ago. He is feeling extremely tired and very low energy (I.e. he gets tired from even going on short 5 minute walks). Does anyone have any tips

After 2 rounds of Docetaxel, PSA is skyrocketing.
After I failed with Zytiga, my MO moved me to
Docetaxel
for 6 sessions starting on November 7th. My Psa going in was 227, after getting the blood work before starting session 3, it was up to 300. Is this going to be just one more treatment that is not going to work?

Urinary Retention
He has just completed round 6 of
docetaxel
yesterday. He has been complaining of difficulty urinating now for many months leading up to his diagnosis and it has continued to worsen up until this morning when he had to go to the ER for being unable to urinate.
