Xofigo Update
The most likely next step as things progress will be chemo (
docetaxel
). Continues to be asymptomatic - no actual pain from the disease itself.

docetaxel side effects
hello, my dad completed his second (of six) rounds of
docetaxel
last Monday the 31 and starting around Wednesday or Thursday of last week began experiencing severe burning in his feet. He states they are very tender, red, and describes it as feeling like they have been sunburned.

Xofigo & Ac- 225 After failed Lu-177
My dad has recently failed Lutetium 177.Previously he was treated with
Docetaxel
which helped him for 9 months.Xtandi and Zytiga didn't work at all.Cabazitaxel worked for 2 months. Can we consider Xofigo and Ac225 now.Would they provide any benefits?

PSA hovering around 1 even after a year on ADT + Enza, should we insist on Triplet Therapy ?
Was wondering if adding
Docetaxel
to the regimen is desirable here ?

6 Docetaxel Treatments vs. 10 Docetaxel Treatments?
Based on these findings, my oncologist has recommended 4 additional
Docetaxel
treatments (from 6 to 10 total treatments) while coninuing the Lupron. I understand that there are some studies pointing to the benefits of 10 treatments vs. 6 treatments.

A Natural Weapon of War
With impressive clinical and pre-clinical science supporting it, I took this supplement at the therapeutic dose --- two tablets with each meal --- two weeks before and during my chemo with
docetaxel
, six cycles.

ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE NUMBER HIGHER
Can
Docetaxel
chemo treatments cause the alkaline phosphatase number to rise? One month my husbands PSA rose and they said it was the cancer cells dying off.... and it went back down to 3.03. But this is the first time his Alkaline Phosphatase number has risen.

I would like to connect with fellow warriors that are HSPC and on Darolutamide to discuss Time to Failure, early detection assays etc...
Are there any HSPC taking it without
docetaxel
. Trying to find data on length before drug failure? I have been on it for 6 months now. I have been interested in early detection strategies for resistance besides PSA which in my opinion is to late.

When to add Lynparza?
I completed six rounds of chemo (
docetaxel
+ carboplatin) end of February. Bottom line from PSMA Pet scan in late March: some tumors reduced in size/intensity, others stayed the same, no new PCa evident. PSA remains undetectable. I’m on Lupron and Nubeqa.

Docetaxel, Chemotherapy
Hi, Have you tried
Docetaxel
before the Zytiga? My dad did the
Docetaxel
(6 rounds) before the Zytiga and it killed a TON of the cancer. He was only on ADT for 2.5 years after the chemotherapy. Wishing you the very best, Karyn

test Enzalutamide or Lu 177 for the first line therapy?
My father PSA is 157 after 8 sessions of
Docetaxel
with 150 mg dose and 2 months Abiraterone after chemo. His health is not in a good way, anemia, loss of appetite, nausea and neuropathy.

PSA ranges
Except for the
docetaxel
series, my own experience with side effects was minimal and I'd have to say that the side effects to me from my first cycle of Pluvicto was almost nothing at all.

QoL - a great gig last night!
This is one of the reasons (the main one, actually) why I'm not too unhappy that the NHS didn't offer me triplet therapy including
docetaxel
chemo - neuropathy of the hands would be a massive hit on my QoL and I'd like to maintain the ability to play songs like 'Hit me' for as long as possible.
