Chronic UTI's
Last year was prescribed Macrobid, but
ceftriaxone
, clindamycin & monural are used in people with kidney disease & lower egfr. Just trying to avoid any further decline in function. I see urology next month. Hopefully they can offer a preventive solution.

Finally, we may have found the smoking gun.
The ER doctor thought she had cirrhosis, so they started her on
Ceftriaxone
and Vancomycin. Within hours, she crashed. And they scrambled, trying to figure out what was going on.

Meningitis - ceftriaxone side effects
I was treated for bacterial anyway with
ceftriaxone
through IV. I am now SUPER tired and have awful acid reflux which I’m in tablets for but the weirdest thing is that my hair has basically died at the ends & gone very dry.

Still struggling - anyone have any ideas ?
I ended up in A&E & because Lymes is still suspected I was treated with IV
ceftriaxone
- symptoms did improve but an infectious diseases neurologist said I had to stop because it wasn’t confirmed Lymes.

How long is epididymitis healing time?
Acute epididymitis most likely caused by sexually transmitted chlamydia and gonorrhea, which can be commonly treated by
Ceftriaxone
plus Doxycycline, taken orally twice a day for 10 days.

Acute Bacterial Meningitis
They are currently giving him doses of
Ceftriaxone
and Vancomycin (Antibiotics) they are also giving him steroids called Dexamethasone to decrease the inflamAtion around the brain. I am very worried as it has been almost 5 days and there is no change in his mental state.
