A little change
I haven't written for a while as busy getting our new home in order and taming the jungle of a garden. I'm loving living in the Scottish Highlands with so much to explore.I've been stable for some time on letrozole and ibrance 125mg. I have a lovely oncologist in Inverness and support from the Macmillan

18 months of diet and lifestyle contributed to the effectiveness of Casodex and Lupron
With a PSA drop of almost 100 points in 30 days, I have to believe that all that I did prior to the
Casodex
and Lupron helped the efficiency of the drugs. I still get erections and ejaculate but no semen comes out.

AI and Faslodex together?
I recently read that patients shouldn’t be on both an AI and Faslodex. Sorry I didn’t bookmark it. I’m currently on both, plus ribociclib. what about any of you ?

Mom doing great with Faslodex with trial med
Happy Friday everyone! My Mom had her second Faslodex injections yesterday and has almost no soreness at site. Yay! She is also very energetic and feels well. She’s thinks maybe the treatment is making her even more energetic than usual (she’s very active and a young 77yrs) lol 😆 She’s involved

Looking for suggestion of clinical trials for mCRPC
I have had SBRT (2007), Chemotherapy (2010/2011), ADT using
Casodex
/Lupron/Zytiga (2012-Current). Interested in joining trials that involve PARP inihibitors, immunotherapy, or other new/novel therapies. Can any of you suggest trials currently accepting candidates.

Is this a rare event?
Long story short I have been on hormone therapy ever since with the one exception of changing from
Casodex
to Zytiga without ever failing
Casodex
. Moved from Phoenix to New Hampshire and with Dorff's help she got me into Dana Farber to see Dr Taplin.

New To Tinnitus - Advice & Tips please
I'm very new to T. My Tinnitus only recently started and is a hiss…. Sometimes louder than others. I have had all the medical checks with a top ENT surgeon. My company has medical insurance which was very helpful. The ENT surgeon prescribed one puff of Nasonex (50 Micrograms) in each nostril morning

Continuing Lupron
A month of
Casodex
50 mg before the a Lupron shot brought the PSA down from 1.1 to 0.42. During the first three months the PSA dropped from 0.42 to 0.29 on October 17. However, at the end of the next three months PSA didn't drop, it increased marginally to 0.32 on January 20.

Hi everyone - it's time for me to change treatment again. Well my time on the Hope trial was pretty short-lived (December to June with pretty much progression showing for 1/2 that time) and now officially over. I'm ok with ending the trial because the travel out of State, and insurance issues were becoming

start Casodex or wait for 2nd opinion ?
Is it okay to wait 1-2 weeks to start
Casodex
in order to get a 2nd opinion on treatment / hormone therapy recommendations ? My relative just found out he is Gleason 9 and urologist wants to start him right away on
Casodex
and then Lupron shot in 2 weeks.

Update on my father. Triplet therapy?
The MO gave us the treatment plan of -
Casodex
, Zoladex, Chemo (Docetaxel) and radiation therapy after that. With the help of this site, I know that early Chemo (6 rounds) is important.
