Ectopics suck 😔
Since my OHS and
cardioversion
, I've been feeling some weird 'bumps' in my chest. Some of them feel like they're my heart, others are more like a big 'butterfly' in my stomach.

I have asked the question of the Rheumy but, of course, no reply yet, but given my additional ailments of late, AtriFib, heart failure and a

Op (12 days before test) and all the additional pills I'm currently taking, I'm thinking it's probably not worthwhile.

newly diagnosed with AF and been super anxious ever since
They performed a
cardioversion
and put me on bisoprolol 2.5mg daily. Stayed a couple days in hospital which I got an echo ultrasound on my heart which came back fine. Did a sleep study which I’m still waiting to hear the results on if I have sleep apnea. 2 stress tests done.

Gone back into AF
So this morning, one day short of 3 weeks after a successful
cardioversion
, I’ve woken up in AF. Heart rate 105 and rhythm is utterly all over the place.

Cardioversion Prep
I’m having my first
cardioversion
in 6 days time and they told me to shave my chest. They did say that they would do it if I can’t but they made such a hash of shaving tiny bits for the ECG that I’d rather do it myself. What they didn’t say though was how much or where to shave.

Any ideas or suggestions welcome!
Yesterday at 2pm they did another (my sixth)
cardioversion
. I stayed with a friend but am home just now. I can’t tell you all how disappointed I feel and how cross I am with my heart, but I also feel so sorry for it.

Coagulation for Afib
After recently having an EP study and
cardioversion
the cardiologist wants to put me on Redoxaban as I refused to take Eliquis. I have a pathological fear of taking blood thinners. At the sign of blood I would have to stop them.

cardioversion - meds on the day
it’s been drummed into me that I have to take blood thinners every 12 hours - and have set alarm for 8am & 8 pm… I have been told to take meds before procedure . Should I take at 5:30 am before I leave for hospital, 7:30 am when I arrive or wait until 8 am is there an issue taking them within 12 hours

Heart rate tracker anomalies
When you can't calmly verify a reading, it's very unsettling to see these unexpected peaks, especially after open heart surgery, a period of AFL and a (successful🤞)
cardioversion
. What would you do in my situation? Thank you in advance.
