Longstanding Persistent AF
I have been listed for a
cardioversion
next but my real worry is my heart rate and I wonder what others here think or if you have had similar experiences. My echo showed a slightly reduced ejection fraction 45-50%, but considering I was in AF when it was done then that is not surprising.

Exercise with AF?
I had my first
cardioversion
a week ago which was successful and I’m still in NSR. I am however very overweight and fall into that delightfully named category of morbidly obese.

72 hrs Post Ablation
I am in normal sinus rhythm but I won't know for some months if it has worked as my Consultant does a
cardioversion
after an ablation which I know does put meback into NSR.

Yearly Check Ups
I caught up with him yesterday, and after 7 years of heart dramas, a
cardioversion
, 4 ablations, 1 abandoned ablation when they found a blood clot in my heart and multiple hospitalisations, he is finally happy to now put me on his, "we'll catch up every year from now on" list.

Ablation for VT
It never had before, then the following day I went into full blown VT, received 8 shocks from the device before they turned it off, failed
Cardioversion
, then rushed to intensive care. Anyway, I have been in hospital for over three weeks of the last six.

My A Fib story
So Afib was diagnosed and I had a
Cardioversion
. I was also peeing for England which was apparently the kidneys flushing themselves as a reaction to my heart. So I am on beta blockers, also on statins as I am now in an at risk group and a blood test revealed high cholesterol.

Changing from Adoxaban to Apixaban … what to expect?
A bit fed up as this delays the
cardioversion
for a few weeks. So I’m just wondering if there’s anything I should know about Apixaban and the difference between this and Adoxaban in peoples experience.

Should I live with it?
My EP has said I'll be a poor ablation candidate if not NSF for at least 30 days after
cardioversion
. I meet with him next week to discuss treatment options. I suspect he'll recommend proceeding with ablation while making caveats for potential poor outcomes. What about just living with it?

Increased Heart Rate
Then I had a
cardioversion
and felt great. Heart rate came back down to around 62bpm. Unfortunately 3 weeks later I went back into AF. The thing is the AF symptoms I previously had have all pretty much gone. The only thing is I still get tired more quickly than when in NSR when walking etc.

did anyone actually carry on drinking after fast AF and cardioversion?, no one has checked me no one gave me any advice just discharged me?
I was rushed into hospital with fast af but no one said why it happened, no one did anything and I have had to ask to see a cardiologist, how bad is that? no reason as to why and nothing its so bad, can i drink, can i carry on as normal? can i excercise, there seems no reason to it?

Uncertain about Amiodarone and cardioversion
Looking forward to hearing from anybody who has the
cardioversion
that has successfully cured AF; where they went for treatment and any other tips. Many thanks.

cyroablation yesterday...
When I got home grabbed my Kardia and sure enough "possible atrial fibrillation", scheduled a second
cardioversion
for April10, on table, hooked up, in and out of afib...of course doc says
cardioversion
won't do any good, went home with scheduled cryoablation May 03, 2023.

Back from EP after Cardioversion Failure
Now EP wants to try another
Cardioversion
in conjunction with amiodarone . I am concerned because I already have neuropathy in feet and fingers and I have read this medicine can worsen that. Anyone with experience with it?
