I have been on a syringe driver using
Bricanyl
from then until now, 18 years in total, also with using steroids and different drugs to keep it under control.

Bricanyl causing acid reflux, what alternative?
I had to stop taking the
Bricanyl
and now, after a few weeks, things have settled down and there is no longer any acid reflux. I saw my GP yesterday and mentioned this, her answer was to just take the
Bricanyl
when I really need it! Personally I don't think that's a good idea.

Poor care at GP practice
Am now back on symbicort and was put on
bricanyl
instead of ventolin. Must carry on with nasal spray but told to stop antihistamines I had been put on as apparently they do nothing for asthma. We'll review again in 3 months and might be put on Montelukast then as I am fairly atopic.

Withdrawl symptoms?
I am just wondering though why am I having these panic attacks - is it due to not using the Ventolin or withdrawl from the
Bricanyl
or would the very short use of the Flixodide do this to me? Anyone experience anything like this before? Thanks.

Hi. I am new to the site. I have just received a diagnosis of asthma at the age of 43. I work nights and days and outin all weather.
Been prescribed SYMBICORT TURBOHALER AND
BRICANYL
TURBOHALER.Does anyone know if I am covered under disability discrimination act as I feel in the long term I may not be fit enough to work nights I also can be in houses where there is smoke damp etc so this triggers the asthma.any assistance gratefully

Snakes and Ladders
Cons doesn't approve of Ventolin so if I can't have Atro as well as Spiriva not sure what I'd do (
Bricanyl
maybe?) -Anything else I could ask about?

What a to do
Drag drag on the
bricanyl
, cough cough to try to get some breath in - remembered the purse lips and tried that. I must have been like that for 20 mins and my partner was going spare. Eventually after about an hour breathing got back to normal,.

Is it time..... I think it might be
Used 14
Bricanyl
reliever and 6 back to back nebs. Have used a total of 28 reliever for day. Oxygen sats 93. Peak flow was 100 but I have it up to 140 now. I am trying so hard to stay away from A&E but I think it might be time for the little green men. (She says reluctantly).
