Atrovent?
I am currently on Seretide 500, uniphykun, singular,
bricanyl
, ceterizine, and I have a nebuliser for when I'm really bad. Thanks in advance :)

Getting an asthma plan
The nurse said I was controlled as I am responding to medication even though I have had to take
Bricanyl
8 times since this morning (including once when I needed three doses). I was therefore told to carry on with what I am doing!

Has anyone experienced indigestion as a side effect of inhaler?
I was still getting the indigestion-like discomfort so she's suggested a change to
Bricanyl
as a reliever and I'm waiting to see GP to get prescription changed. I'm not using the reliever at the moment, just the Spiriva but I do still get some indigestion-like discomfort although not as much.

I have a chest infection and I never knew!
to see about changing the Ventolin to
Bricanyl
in case it's the Ventolin causing the discomfort, and also to discuss whether it could be the lazy/possibly blocked heart valve the cardiologist discovered when I originally had all my tests but dismissed it as being low risk.

Need advice about medication
I currently take Terbutaline (
Bricanyl
) and the Preventer Budesonide. I've been taken off the Budesonide and been given Clenil Modulite. However I have never gotten on with Clenil and as expected it is causing wheezing and a tight chest.

Is this COPD?
I have had
Bricanyl
inhaler in the past and that DID help .... so much easier to take than Ventolin too lol. I'm just trying to prepare myself for what's next if it's not COPD. Strangely I feel if it IS then at least I know why I get ill every Winter and what steps I can take to help myself.

Possibly got COPD
Apparently I was diagnosed with asthma in 1996 (I wasn't told at the time) but I have had
Bricanyl
inhalers in the past, cos of wheezing,so the Doc did an asthma review and told me I don't have asthma (I already knew that lol) She listened to my lungs (had a nice lil wheeze going on) but was also experiencing

Respiratory Nurse update
She thinks the headaches are carbon monoxide retention but is not sure why I am shaky as I am not using my
Bricanyl
too much, she also noted the change in my voice and that I had lost lots of weight. (I believe the weight loss is because I have had no steroids for over 18 months).

IRRITATING! (and Stressful)
Before tackling the surgery I decided to ring the Respiratory Team and check that his meds 2x puffs of symbicort twice a day, 1x spiriva once a day and 1x puff of
bricanyl
or ventolin as needed was the correct medication which gave me the confidence to tackle the doctors again!

brittle asthma
My medication at the moment is symbicort 400 turbohaler 2 am 2 pm and
bricanyl
turbohaler prn. From my looking on the internet some things say that medications and brittle asthma are irrelevant as they sometimes don't help, so does this mean that the symbicort could be unnecessary?

Does anyone know the difference
What is the difference between Ventolin and
Bricanyl
. Many years ago I used to have Ventolin but it made me shake badly so the doc changed it to
Bricanyl
.

Help with thrush!
I take symbicort twice daily and use
bricanyl
as and when and generally things are well controlled at the moment. However, I've had a problem with my throat/voice for about 6 months now. It started with a throat infection that wouldn't go and after 7(!!!!)

Changing type of inhaler device...
I really want to swap the Ventolin MDI to a Turbohaler (I have been told there is one called
Bricanyl
). Is there any reason my GP would object to this? Can I do it just because of preference even though there is not a medical need to swap? I don't want to feel like I'm wasting her time!

Severe asthma and dating (mini teenage meltdown)
i suppose its also the fact that i cant live like every other 18 year old, as you cant exactly go out clubbing and puff away on your
bricanyl
/ventolin, i'm also often cyanotic of a night time and take theophylline so i cant drink alcohol.

Back pain
I use
Bricanyl
as my reliever. I can't get back to the GP until next Thursday! Most of the doctors write question marks on my notes when I say I have a sore back and I think is related to the brown inhalers.

Steroid Therapy
The relative seems very vague about continuing her normal dosage of Seretide and whether or not she can continue using her reliever
Bricanyl
. The lady is very reluctant to seek clarification from her doctor.

When do you say enough is enough?
believes that 'if you need a neb, you need to be in hospital' so i ended up puffing through a canister of ventolin and
bricanyl
inhaler or two each week.
