Trying to keep busy

I personally have problems getting motivated. I am watching too much rubbish on the tele, eating too many crisps and ice cream. I am about to run out of goodies. Hopefully my next Sainsburys delivery will have some of the treats I ask for. :) I am very lucky that I have a tiny patio and some pots so

Treatments after Immunotherapy

Now I am without treatment and my doctors propose Axitinib or participate in a trial of Votrient, which is not yet approved for the use of patients who have done immunotherapy. Is anyone in one of these programs? Has anyone used Axitinib and Votrient and which of them has been more toxic?

She has been taking Afatinib for 10 days now and is really struggling with side effects. She has diahorrea several times a day, acne rash on upper body particularly bad on her scalp

Hi guys. I'm Adam, I was diagnosed last April at the age of 37 with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which had spread to my spine. It was caught on an X-ray of my throat completely unrelated to the cancer. As a lifetime non-smoker it was a complete shock (and still is). Turns out it was due to DNA mutation). Ive

Gilotrif/Afatinib

52 years old and have stage 4 lung cancer. I am EGFR positive and have been taking gilotrif/ Afatinib for almost 2 months now. I was wondering if there is anyone out there on this drug and is it working? I will have scans again on the 17th. Of this month. I try and stay positive.

Has anyone had any experience of Afatinib?

In order to support a submission to the Scottish medicines consortium (SMC) for the availability of Afatinib (Gilotrif) which is a targeted (biological) therapy it would be helpful to hear from anyone that may have experience of it either through your Consultant or as part of a clinical trial

Just a quick update

I have just had my latest scan results, much earlier than expected. My November scan showed progression of the main tumour. It had gone from 11cms to collapsed and immeasurable in 8 months, this had remained so for another year. Then November showed it was 2cms x 3mm. We didn't know how long it had taken

I knew It would happen eventually and did expect it as I've been coughing for the last 3 weeks but still it was a shock. I've been
