Resp Cons.
I think this is going to be quite a lengthy post so here goes.. Last year my paediatric respiratory consultant said I would have to move over to adult respiratory consultant. It took 5 months for my paeds consultant to write to the respiratory team to ask whether they would take over. I was no longer

Nose bleeds and nebulisers
I am going through a rough patch over the past three weeks with my asthma and am on my second coure of pred in two weeks and have been using my nebuliser, atrovent and ventolin pretty much every day sometimes several times a day and using a mask and now I am getting nosebleeds, could this be related?

What to do now
Hi Everyone I'm struggling a bit at the moment. I had colds last October, November and December! I needed oral Steroids in October but that was the only time I had them in 2011. In the new year I felt like I'd got a constant cold and the Asthma was playing up, especially in the mornings. My GP thought

The loud gurgle rattle when my husband breaths is often mistaken as a death rattle when new hospice staff come to see him.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? It can be very discomforting when the nurses mention this to family members. We dry up secretions with atropine drops but my husband does not seem bothered by the rattle. Has anyone else experienced this?

Having difficulty breathing
Dave is having difficulty breathing at night when I put his bed down flat, but he is uncomfortable when I put it up for him. He needs it half way up so that he is not choking and gasping for air, Does anyone think that atropine drops to dry up the saliva at night might help?

Atropine Drops
Tony was recently prescribed Atropine drops under the tongue to help dry excessive secretions in the mouth. Having used them occasionally I can report that the results have been very encouraging. If anyone else is troubled by dribbling, please ask your GP about Atropine. It has certainly helped Tony.

Has anyone had experience of Atropine Eye Drops? I understand these can also be given for drying up excess saliva.

Which order should I take my drugs in?
Sorry if anything similar has been posted before. I use Atrovent, Serevent and Ciclosenide. Any ideas on the order I should be taking them to achieve the best result? Thanks and keep going. Andyk
